If i work on the phone all the time and just went to another state , would that still be travel business trip if work during the trip?
Ong thank you! So my food statements are ok to go without receipts? It all was bought through Apple Pay and in food apps usually but doesn’t go far year ago 😢
So I jus writing off gas, insurance and car repairs . I add up my insurance payments for the year, my gas and if I use my car 30% of the time then I use the actual method correct
Hey should your family be i9 or w4 1099 or w9 employees?
What if you had a ssn while being a student on a J1 visa, how can I retrieve my ssn. It was lost during moving and I am no longer a student.
And I too and blown away that you don’t have more likes and followers! Praying for a well deserved increase and support your way. Your content is ON POINT! B
I just came across your videos and mad I didn’t find you sooner! Your videos are awesome! So informative, short, personable, relatable, and to the point. Thank you so much! I’m now a subscriber and look forward to future content. Wishing you blessings in abundance!!
Whew!
This is false. Per Small Business Jobs Act of 2010, use of cell phone can be deducted 100% without record keeping between business or personal use. This means IRS can not go through your phone bills to see how many minutes you spent talking to grandma vs your clients. Your business phone line is treated as 100% business use.
Do you have to pay for this service
Can a door dasher use home office?
But what about a fluctuating income?????? Then is more complicated to estimate quarterly tax payments. Does the app you mentioned helps with the annualized method?
Im a full time employee receiving a w2, opened my own online store, and stream games on Twitch under my LLC. I use my room to broadcast! Am i able to measure my work room, closet for storage, and hallway to the restroom? I am learning how to do write offs. Love the vids!! Thank you
thank you for the video. Very engaging and easy to follow.
This is really great! You have fabulous tips and you explain them so clearly. Thank you!
Hi. Thank you for your content. I’m locked in. Question…I am looking into an indy contract work in a venture that differs slightly from my previous venture. Would I need to file for a new EIN or ITIN if I filed as a disregarded entity 2 years ago and was inactive the last year? If I’m not mistaken, I’d for sure need to file for a new EIN or ITIN if I want to file as an LLC or S Corp, correct?
Great info! Thank you What if my total income includes a part time job with a W2, social security and pension and I make some money with a 1099 gig. Does that enable me to pay myself a low salary from the S corp?
Hello, I am filling out a CSU application for college and it is asking me to input my Parents' adjusted gross income (AGI) for 2022 and my Parents' untaxed income and benefits for 2022. I know the AGI can be found on line 11 of the 1040 form on the 2022 Individual Tax Return, but I want to confirm where I can find the amount for the untaxed income and benefits? Is it line 2a where it says “Tax-exempt interest” or is it line 2b where it says “Taxable interest”? Line 2a is blank, but line 2b has an amount. Which one would I put? Thank you!

My husband has a gospel group. Small business LLC. They were giving themself per diem checks for food and travel. We are just learning about tax write-offs. We keep track of all expenses already in case we get audited. They are on the road traveling every weekend and stop or go through a drive-through for meals. Would this qualify as a business meal?
Such a helpful video. Thank you!
I've never been happier than clicking on this email link in my inbox. Your explanation is crystal clear. Ty!
Many thanks. Good information, and after having the INTIN is mandarory to file taxes
Great video, but you have to KILL the background music, this is serious business and takes concentration, just trying to help you..
OMG this is way over my head! 200 miles on my new vehicle. I am not paid to the pick up point or after the drop off which is where the mileage rack up it has to pencil.
Great information 🎉
I don’t see any way possible they would not authorize the Dubai business trip
Thanks for the info
What is my IRS "OFFICIALLY IN BUSINESS DATE" as a Travel KZread Channel:: #1 The date I am first PAID by KZread? -or- #2 The date I upload my first video on the KZread Channel? -or- #3 The date I took my first business/Filming Trip? Thank you!
Excellent videos! & I think I found the APP I’ve been looking for as well. But I do have a couple of questions related to this topic:: #1: I live in Mexico full-time and according to my tax preparer I do not pay state taxes since I have no ‘home bases in the USA’. Does this mean according to the IRS I do not have a “TAX HOME”? #2: I’m a digital nomad - BUT with NO USA home base or employer… as I said living full-time in Mexico… I have started a KZread Travel Channel reviewing hotels, restaurants, airlines/transportation options , tours, etc since I am a former Travel Agent. & I typically live in each place I am reviewing (in Mexico) from 1 week to 4 months while I am filming & editing content about that destination. But I always spend 3-4 months in the same 'MEXICO HOME BASE" during the winter months (Cozumel). But I do not own property on Cozumel - I always stay in an Airbnb when I am there. If I am working 40 hours a week on my channel while located in other parts of Mexico the rest of the year , do the Business Travel terms covered in this video still apply to me in each destination I am temporarily staying in? Or does the IRS consider me “living here” even though I am hopping around 7-8 months of the year, & because I am not paying State taxes & have no USA based employer? I know I should still be able to claim any transportation/accommodations/meals/tours etc. that I film and include in my publish KZread content… but will it be considered as a GENERAL Business Expense (Schedule C, Box 27a) VS a Business Travel Expense (Schedule C, Box 24a) ? If I use your APP will there be tax professionals able to guide me on the nuances of my tax situation for tracking & filing? THANK YOU!!
QUESTION:: I have a 'TRAVEL KZread' channel primarily focusing on Mexico - where many of the restaurants/meals I FILM FOR COTENT only accept CASH.... is this considered a “Reasonable & Ordinary Expense” ... or because it's my actually CONTENT TOPIC does it fall into a different Tax Category , and therefore also have different RECEIPT RECORD requirements? Especially if it's over $75... Part of my confusion is I know there are IRS rules related to BUSINESS TRAVEL EXPENSES.. but what is TRAVEL & the cost of it, IS YOUR BUSINESS? IS YOUR CONTENT? Does it fall under the general "BUSINESS EXPENSE" rules then -- as in 1099 - SCHEDULE C Box 27a (per your website) VS SCHEDULE C Box 24a (per your website)? Will Keeper help me sort this out and track it properly for tax reporting? THANK YOU!!!
Should we keep bank accounts and credit cards seperate from our personal accounts so everything would be a business expense then?
Thanks for the video. But I still have a question, if I do not have a main job and only receive income as self-employed, can I write off the standard deduction?
Will this app be good for married couples who file jointly? 1 is a 1099 the other W2
😇🎉 Thank you! This was exactly what I was looking for. I loved how you explained everything. God bless you!
Hi , i am an on f1 visa but out of status is it safe for me to apply for ITin? and what kind of job am I eligible to apply for with the ITIn? Thank you
great video, thank you
What if my wife didn't earn an income and only a net loss as a Realtor? We are filling jointly.
Great videos! I am learning so much. Wish I would have found y'all sooner. My job/business is a little unusual. I live with (split the rent and all utilities ) with some individuals that require 24/7 care due to various disabilities. I have an LLC and am their only provider for care in their home. During COVID (2020-2022) many of the drinks and meals were purchased through drive through for health and safety reasons and eaten at their home. Can these be written off as a business meal? I also would buy groceries to do meal prep for the clients and myself, to do life skills training on how to safely prepare a meal, and for their birthdays and holidays. Not ALL groceries were for them. I kept and wrote on receipts when the items were for a specific event or training. For example, for Thanksgiving we had a big Thanksgiving dinner together that I bought the groceries for and that I prepared the meal for the clients and I to eat. (They are older and mostly do not have family to do this for them and they cannot do this for themselves.) I also keep ALL my personal grocery receipts to show that I am not just trying to write off all my personal groceries, just the ones that I consider the cost of doing business. Could these "grocery" receipts be written off as a business meal?
You are delightful!! So clear, informational, and helpful. Thank you!
So Uber eats didn't sent me a 1099 because I earn less than 600 in 2023. Which means the IRS was not reported of my small earnings. How are they going to find out if I don't report them. I plan not to report it.

What if I didn't write off any of the miles driven for work since 2020? Am I able to write off all those previous 2020-2023 miles? Because of you, I will finally be smart and start saving some money, thank you!
can you apply estimated deductions like the standard, qbi, and biz expenses to quarterly’s or how does that work?
If you federal, state, and self-employment quarter taxes, does the IRS Payment Portal let you pay for all of them in one place? Do you have to make state payments separately?
🎉
