  It heartening to see young people being involved and driving these trucks as much as those of us who drove them when they were being worked extremely hard in their working life. It’s so nice to see them being loved in their retirement and being appreciated for what they are and what they achieved. They were mechanical marvels, and the characters who drove them along the goat tracks and hi ways were a special breed. Diesel ran in their veins!

  I love that half cab Atkinson at 30 seconds. Anyone know where I can get one as a project?? I had a 1968 Atki half sleeper but it vanished in property settlement. Women really are ruthless.

  Actually, some of those trucks are right-handed drive American trucks. Kenworths, Freightliners, Peterbilts, Mack's, IHs, Diamonds.

  2 red beauties the faded red B model and the sharper R-600 single drive with the sleeper. I'm not a Mack man as such but I like the older ones. I liked the done up singles drives as a kid in the seventies, slightly longer wheelbase, sleeper, chrome stack, intake pipes etc
