Nice job!!
Thank you 🙏
A lot of these type of videos have been appearing over the past 2 years/months. Don't the taxes you pay the city cover to pay the city to clear public pavements?
Unfortunately where I am located there is a city code that they say saves tax payers money. The code states the homeowner is responsible for maintaining 6 feet past the property line.
Excellent job. Yes, a safety t shirt or vest is a good idea, so you can make sure everyone sees you.
Thank you 🙏 I did end up purchasing a safety vest 🦺 and have one to use going forward
Good one rag weed. Where are you located? New Mexico ?
Close! I am in West Texas
You need to be wearing a bright yellow or Orange safety vest. You are an accident waiting to happen.
I definitely bought a safety vest 🦺 after filming this video! Thanks 🙏 for watching
Wow, that is a busy street. I wouldn't want to walk along it Even on the sidewalk would make me nervous. Great job. You may have saved people lives cleaning off that sidewalk.
Thank you 🙏 for your support! I am glad we are able to get it cleaned up for the community
Oi eu me inscrevi no seu canal que legal sou brasileiro 🇧🇷
Thank you 🙏 I really appreciate your support!
What a compassionate world we live in. So the neighbours know that this gentleman has been in the hospital for a couple of months and have done nothing about maintaining the front garden at least. Shame on the neighbours. Why don't people come together anymore to help each other out? It's not hard to do a little bit for someone else. Thank goodness for these KZreadrs making these videos. The world would be totally lost without them!
Thank you 🙏 for these kind words! I am just glad that we are able to help where we can
@@DereksLawnRescue Thank you for your service - it is much appreciated.
What’s the city doing
Unfortunately there is a city code here that states the homeowner is responsible for maintaining 6 feet past the property line, and so sadly they say this is the homeowner on the other side of the fences responsibility. Thank you 🙏 for watching
I see a lot of you guys that cut these abandoned yards use toro mowers, are they heavy duty mowers, better warranty, etc: Thanks,
I can’t speak for everyone else, but I use toro because this model is a commercial mower, and I have good dealer support here. If my dealer changes brands then I will when it’s time to get a new one! Thanks 🙏 for watching and hopefully that answers your question
Great job done
Thank you 🙏
That close to a busy road.... wear hi-vis orange. Their defense: "I didn't see him."...
I definitely bought a hi-vis safety vest 🦺 after this! Thanks 🙏 for watching
You had nerves of steel to work along that highway. Great job 👍.
Thank you 🙏 I definitely bought a safety vest 🦺 after doing this yard
Keep up good work
Thank you 🙏 I definitely will
Nice job. An amazing improvement.
Thank you 🙏 I really appreciate the kind words and support
We’re I come from if it is in front of your house or business you take care of it
That’s basically the city code here. The homeowner is responsible for maintaining 6 feet past the property line. Thanks 🙏 for watching
Viewing from Detroit Michigan USA 🇺🇸 😎 😊
Thanks 🙏 for watching! I really appreciate your support
City takes your tax but does nothing for you ….
Unfortunately where we are at there is a city code that makes it the homeowners responsibility to maintain 6 feet past the property line which means they say this falls on the homeowner
@@DereksLawnRescue so different from here in the UK 🇬🇧… Be careful out there …
@@englishterry8084 i definitely will! Thank you 🙏 for your support
Probably easier to edge first. It’s been so hot here also. Please stay safe.
Yeah I will be doing that going forward in this situation lol. Thanks 🙏 for watching
Terrific job👍
Thank you 🙏
I sure hope now that you have done the hard work, the neighbors will come together to keep it up for him. Looks great.
I definitely hope so! It’s about 15 minutes away from me so I can go check in a week to make sure it’s still under control. Thanks 🙏 for watching
You are bold. Them cars were too damn close.
I definitely went and bought a safety vest 🦺 after this one! Thanks 🙏 for watching
Respect si aprecieri pentru toata aceasta munca!Este nespus de grea!Sunt nou abonat.Va urmaresc din Romania.💕
Thank you 🙏 I really appreciate the support!
looks dangerous even though it has been cleaned up!!
With how fast the traffic is it still isn’t the best, but it’s much better now that people don’t have to use the street! Thank you 🙏 for watching
@@DereksLawnRescue brilliant work so much safer
Viewing from 313 motor city Detroit Michigan USA 🇺🇸 😊 , excellent community service effort .
Thank you 🙏
Good for you! it’s nice to see people taking time to help others.
Thank you 🙏 for the kind words
You may want to sharpen your mower blade...
I actually have a specific set of blades that I use for these jobs. I had to replace them after this one because they were worn out and dinged up too bad. Thanks 🙏 for watching
Dang! Those cars are hauling ass down that street
Yeah it’s a very busy road and they don’t slow down unless a cop sits there and is scanning with a radar. Thanks 🙏 for watching and leaving a comment
It is very nice that you made the sidewalk safer, but a few observations if I may: 1. Wear a dust mask when using the blower for your lungs will get damaged if you don't and run the risk of COPD. 2. You need to put up traffic cones on a busy street like that to avoid getting hit by a vehicle. 3. Wear a fluorescent safety vest. These kind of jobs will get you in shape brother!
I did purchase a safety vest 🦺 for jobs like this and definitely still need to get a mask. I hope so because I already lost 20 pounds but want to lose another 40! Thanks 🙏 for your support
@@DereksLawnRescue Great job Derek, keep it up!

Great job Derek
Thank you 🙏 I really appreciate your support
What did you sit in?
We had actually gotten 2.5 inches of rain a few hours before I did this job, and so when I sat down on the platform where I stand on the mower to take a break I noticed it was wet. I think it’s from the rain water but honestly not exactly sure. Thanks 🙏 for watching
It seems the mayor of the city is saving the taxpayers money in his personal bank account
We just got a new mayor this round of elections and he promises to cut taxes even more. I know the city code makes this the homeowners responsibility to maintain 6 feet past the property line but I think someone should have come out way before I found it because this is a safety hazard ⚠️ thank you 🙏 for your support
👍🇰🇿🖐🎉
Thank you 🙏 for the support
See if they contract out that block and something went wrong, ask for that money.
Unfortunately there is a city code that states that the homeowner is responsible for maintaining 6 feet past the property line so if I send a bill with proof that we did the work he/she will receive a major fine. I am just glad we were able to make the sidewalk safe again. Thanks 🙏 for your support
That i did not know, you are a great man for doing this for the community @@DereksLawnRescue
Thank you 🙏 for the kind words. We pay taxes that honestly I wish they would tell us where all it goes
Where the hell is the city crew
You would think they would have stepped in when it got this bad, but unfortunately there is a city code that states the homeowner is responsible for maintaining 6 feet past the property line, and so it actually falls on the homeowner on the other side of the fence. Thank you 🙏 for watching
Looks Great💪❤️
Thank you 🙏 I really appreciate your support!
Beautiful Job ❤
Thank you 🙏
You did a very nice job❤️👏👏
Thank you 🙏 I really appreciate the kind words and your support
@DereksLawnRescue your Welcome! And we Appreciate all the hard, selfless work you do. Keep doing what you're doing. God Bless You🙏
Watching this one 5 months later, but for future reference, for lower back pain, sit in a sturdy chair (no arms). Cross your right leg over top of your left knee, so your ankle is on or about your left thigh. Sit up straight, then slowly lean forward... should feel a good stretch through your hips. Then repeat on the other side.
Thank you! 🙏 that definitely will help me out
Huge effort👍
Thank you 🙏 I really appreciate your support
