Excellent videos and we really enjoyed this since we plan to go there sometime in the future. Don’t know if we would have made the same decisions as you two did with going there instead of around Africa, but it is easy to understand why. With minimal/no crowds, it is a good time to go.

Leaving from Dubai to ensure we saw the world wonders was a non negotiable for us and the cruise stops in Africa just didn’t interest us - it was 100% the right decision for us but again… FOR US… everyone was def on their own journey. You have brought back so many memories. We went to Egypt in the 90's, about 6 months after a terrorist attack at the Valley of the Kings. Tourism was down so we got to go into the big pyramid also. Much smaller group and it still felt tight, but oh the experience of a lifetime. Enjoy Petra!

Amazing! And your excitement is so infectious that it brought tears to my eyes. The only mid-eastern country we’ve been to is Israel, which is beyond amazing, but with the problems there now, I wouldn’t recommend traveling there.

Singing in public is not illegal. Probably if the singer sounds sooo horrible and cause public annoyance that someone makes a complain about that. Even the police will just warn the singer to just shut up.

To correct some of your misconceptions about Singapore. One is allowed to chew gum provided it’s disposed off probably. You only cannot sell gum in Singapore. You can bring in some for your own consumption. Fine for singing? While I’m posting this my opposite neighbor is having a karaoke session in his house. Busking is allowed under license. This is to make sure the person is up to standard. You missed the hawker centers. The weather will be cooler during the north east monsoon which is from November to March. Hope your enjoyed your sojourn in Singapore.

I am such a baby with heights but I said several times "I bet there are ALOTTT of people that had NO IDEA what they were getting themselves into"" There were SO MANY moments we were on two wheels... unable to see ANYTHING and at heights that made me nervous... I just tried to lean into this was def not Desert Rose's first rodeo but geeeeesh... We had a blast - really loved it and was SOOOO HAPPY we took the freeway back.. never thought we may have to do the dunes to get back out - IN.THE.DARK! YIKES! Can you imagine??? no. nada.nope.

Wow... they arranged a lion dance welcome for the ship! Welcome to Singapore! You had bubble milk tea (bubbles are made of tapioca) and polar sugar rolls(most likely) . Yes , it's really humid and hot , even for us. Fortunately , transportation is easy with MRT and buses. Please do return and do a 5 -day stay so that you can experience our true local food and culture and zoo /bird park/night safari. Enjoyed your videos! Wishing you both a safe travel!

Not really. Hard liquor they will hold in the hull for us until disembark but we can bring as many bottles of wine as we can hold in our cabin. No live plants but live flowers are ok. No extra people :) THANK YOU for joining the journey! I love having you along!

Not really. Hard liquor they will hold in the hull for us until disembark but we can bring as many bottles of wine as we can hold in our cabin. No live plants but live flowers are ok. No extra people :) THANK YOU for joining the journey! I love having you along!
