This series is overrated as f, just my opinion, i just completed season 1 now, it's just a average series, not goated. Just a normal storyline, get's lag in between most of the episodes.

Goes to show just how convincing Rust was. I think Ginger suspected Rust until he agreed to join the robbery. At that point Ginger was so fucked up on drugs and adrenaline that he probably didn’t think much of Rust. Also in his mind he’s probably thinking “there’s no way he’d agree to do this if he was undercover” since it was such a crazy mission

Zing and Ah Sahm never end up fighting. I think Ah Sahm destroys Zing in a fair 1v1. Zing only had a chance with Li Yong because he grabbed the sword

3:21 id be shocked if that was coke ngl, coming from sm1 who has experience re: drug use and addiction- regardless of the circumstances and what its mixed with you wouldnt offer sm1 coke if theyve just themselves given you a huge bag of coke. clearly he has all the coke he could want. it couldve been meth or couldve been a mix of stuff, no way to tell but definitely (imo) cut with either a strong opioid (ion think fent or zenes were around when this show was airing so whatever heroin/other strong street opioid was going around at the time) or a disso (pcp or ket). i got the impression he was both tryna gauge where rusts tolerance was at (if it hit him too hard despite "crash" purportedly being a junkie thats sus asf) as well as throw him off-kilter to test his cover-story . also, i think rust knew what he was doing and had planned for it which is why he waited until after he was questioned to bring out the coke- his tolerance *was* actually lower and taking out the bag for ginger to try spared him from having to speak/recall his cover story for precious minutes. the way rust says "after all i meant to you" knowingly makes me think hes either been through this routine himself before or seen others go through it with ginger as a bystander.

This whole episode should have been called "Post Nut Clarity". Both Harrelson and McConaughey had moments of realization after the deed in the same episode! Side note, I love the classic puke sound effect they used for Woody, straight out of South Park 😅

I have to admit even though I knew Ah Sahm was a tough fighter I was holding my breath. Like A Sahm said “fight the Yellow Demon? Do I look crazy”? When I knew Ah Sahm was fighting to the death with Bolo. It was epic. Love does give you more. I hated losing the character but I was still on the edge during the fight

Especially since Bolo had the size advantage. He was much bigger and stronger than Ah Sahm, and unlike Leary, he had a lot of speed as well

Mai Ling is like Cersei Lannister if Cersei Lannister had a brain. She is a bad person, but such. Great character. She uses her feminine charm and guile to manipulate her enemies. The fight between Li Yong and Kong Pak was Tragic as fuck. The Ah Sahm vs the Jun and Hong was so sad, but it was badass. I'm looking forward to season 4, I hope Chao survives the stab from Zing. I completely forgot about him. Great series.

I'm currently watching this series with my dad and honestly, we're losing our motivation and patience with this season. The absolute crazy shit that's going on and the dumb shit the characters are getting into, it's almost unbearable but you guys make it worth it!
