It's interesting because it's not as bad in real life. I've actually gone from ZCO and Tangent since and got a Razor Gen 3 and kept the NF for now. I may sell the ATACR. It may be good to give some observations on which does better over the course of a 1 and 2 day match. Thanks for watching

Here’s how I see it as an owner of the NF ATACR 7-35 Tremor 3. Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren. You’re a fortunate to be able to own and use any of them…and at this level it’s more about the ability of the end user rather than the marginal differences between NightForce, Zero Compromise, and Tangent Theta top options.

Hey Rob, thanks for the response on the last video, I figured I would put my follow up comment on this video. So I have been running a NF ATACR in PRS22 for a couple of years now, recently had to have the windage erector set replaced under warranty bc it would not hold zero. However, I also purchased one of the newer ZCO 840s recently to possibly switch my rimfire setup over to. For me, it’s no comparison in glass. The ZCO is considerably superior to the NF especially the higher you go up in magnification. The 840 parallaxes down below 10 yards and the edge to edge clarity is far better than my NF. I prefer the MPCT3X reticle but I know some don’t care for the circles, for me it is very intuitive and quick to find my place for holds. I have not owned a Tangent yet but I have fondled several of them and they are remarkable too, but I think I still prefer the ZCO, maybe it is the tone of the image in the ZCO my eye likes more and definitely the ZCO reticles. I think you made a great point that once you step up to the higher end of optics, I have found that the number one most important factor to choose an optic by is what reticle do you personally like and find attractive and easy to see and use. That’s possibly why you are so fond of the NF I would think. That’s also why I chose ZCO over Tangent, I’m not a huge fan of Tangents reticles, they seem too fine for me and I would often lose the reticle in the background and waste time trying to find my correct hold again. Great videos and content. Thanks for sharing. Congrats on the MBA.

Hey Ben, thanks for the comment, I had made this a while back and didn't like it, so in a way this video was for you after your question. Long story short, I had an issue with thr ZCO turret and while the image looked better on the ZCO initially, I think my eye was more comfortable by end of the match. I've won PRS22 matches with the NF 7-35 so maybe it's a placebo effect. All that said, it's great having the options available! Thanks again for watching!

Hi Ben! I was doing an MBA in 2023 and finally wrapped that up. Buy I'm going to do a video on why. I'm way overdue on that subject. However, the ZCO and NF had nearly the same resolution to my eye. That's personal preference. I like the NF parallax and turrets better and the reticle just worked better for me more importantly. I have a level of confidence with the nightforce that's hard to explain and I need to figure out why that is. I do have the Tangent Theta on my centerline still. Anyhow. I think you just gave me the idea for the next video I need to do, so I appreciate that and hope to answer more in depth for anyone wondering soon. Thanks for watching!

Does Zco make non locking turrets? I honestly have never felt a need for locking turrets. ALL THINGS considered, I think Zco is the better scope bc the fit and finish is just sexyyyy!!! It is hands down the single nicest looking optic on the market....and to perform THAT close to TT while looking that good, if I had the choice I'd go with the Zco. The ONE downside to me with Zco is the reticle. I find a few of them to be overly busy. March 5-40 has a gorgeous reticle, Athlon Cronus has a nice clean reticle, Zeiss S3 as well. very nice. My 300 WSM is a custom build for ELD,ive abandoned all polymer and laminated wood stocks in favour for one peice 6160 Aluminium chassis. A noticeable difference overall.

I've since switched to a chassis as well. The stock is very nice but the chassis fit my body better. Thanks for watching!

It looks like the MPA is also substantially heavier than some competitors. MDT has some hollowed out sections it looks like, and then promotes sale of their weight system. Granted, you can shift weight more I’m sure. Cool coverage! -Isaac

Thanks for watching and commenting! I wanted to look at the acc pro but honestly, I tried the mpa and it just fit me really well so I bought the only one I could find. I also like the weight system for the mpa. You dint have to remove the action. It balances really well and the adjustable mag latch is awesome.

How important is annealing? I can't get consistent ES. One day I get 10 ES and other days 30 ES.

It's important in that you want less spring back from the brass and better consistency in that regard. What brass powder and primer, because that is where there could be a more important issue. I don't use alpha brass, but heard it doesn't require annealing per their own specs. I do it with an Amp on lapua and get decent es/SD, but even then, if your results on paper at 100 and plate to distance are good, don't worry about it. If you're shooting f class, disregard what I said and see Erik Cortina's videos.

@@andrewroberson724 Thanks for the reply. My results on paper and at 800-1200 and 1800 yards are excellent, better than what I expect. Moa shooting at 1200yds with 75% accuracy on good days and over 65% at a mile on a 2'x2' steel target. Some of the shots I make, most people won't believe so I always film everything and have it on my other youtube account. I've thought about that before, if Im getting great results, why worry about it. I use alpha brass and berger bullets.

I am sold. I have watched it for over a year the EC Tuner, the first model required gunsmithing, not for me extra cost. This tuner is the right one to buy.
