I've had cold sores ever since I was a kid. I have had some pretty bad and embarrassing ones, especially on the middle of my top lip where it goes above the lip. It's true that if you catch them when your lip starts to tingle they don’t progress any further, but sometimes they can start while you are asleep and you can’t control them. Another thing I learned that if it has only progressed slightly you can cover it with an invisible cold sore patch and it stops it from going further, but with me, it usually comes back more aggressive on the corner of my bottom lip a couple of days later, then I just decide to ride it out as it's way less embarrassing on the bottom

First thing I see on anybody is their face. Blackhead on men are usually soooooooooooooooooo noticeable. Guys please exfoliate in some way. Whiteheads come and go and pretty much can’t be contained when eruption happens but blackheads are easy to tame. Pimples can be excused, blackheads, not so much!

I’m not a dr but putting it directly on the lesion is a terrible idea. Use a q-tip. And clean hands. You’ve now infected your concealer.

The herpes simplex virus that causes cold sores is actually pretty fragile compared to other viruses. Most instances HSV can only survive outside the body for 10 seconds at best. Not all, but sometimes it can survive for anywhere between 24 hours to 7 days max. It's gross and unsanitary but it won't infect the concealer. Also nobody should be sharing concealer anyway. You also can't give yourself or infect yourself with a virus you already have. I hope that helps. Not trying to be rude, just giving information. Hope you are having a good day today.

It isn't dirt, it is sebaceous filament, which is a mix of dead skin sells and sebum. They are not blackheads, they appear similar because what you are squeezing is a hair follicle. Squeezing them can easily damage your skin and pores unintentionally; if your skin is cracked the next morning, that isn't a good thing. Instead, wash your face often to remove dirt and sweat, exfoliate, and use noncomedogenic products, instead of spreading misinformation on KZread.

Do you have any demos with an Asian male model? It would be helpful to see how all your products work on Asian male skin! (Slightly rougher than female skin, but not as rough as Western or black male skin, and of course tone difference also).

41 and consistently getting dimple pimples for the first time in my life. I’m so glad I stumble on this because it was so far off my radar to think creatine could be the cause, but I just started taking it two months ago and the Acme started this month. Being new to getting breakouts, I’ve been a jerk about it and squeezing them or whatever but your mention about scarring definitely was a warning that I needed. I’ll do a bit more research to try to find a solution but for now, just having a better idea of the cause is helpful.

I use Rimmel sun shimmer instant tan matte, it’s a lot darker than this like melted chocolate so you only need a tiny bit, mix it with your normal moisturiser and add more if you need to and wash your hands after before it absorbs into your fingers, it’s waterproof. I used to use Clinique men face bronzer that was £20 for 60ml whereas the rimmel is £4.50 for 125ml in home bargains or similar shop. I was expecting the rimmel one to be thin and watery but they’re both exactly the same colour and thickness just one is 1/4 of the price for twice as much. Hope that helps
