It is "The Call of Heroes"! They are our men and women of duty: the Armed Forces. They sacrifice their mortality for those of us they'll never know. This video is also the call, the prelude for the Lest We Forget Their Sacrifices Made song, written by Jerome V. Chambers Jr.; featuring vocal artist, and top 32 Canadian Idol finalist Alinka, and keyboardist extraordinaire - The Maestro of the 88 Keys, Robert Chambers.

What an inspiration
The guy did nothing. played house league, and was invisible on the ice. The big lie continues. HOF for being black? YUP!
So happy to finally see Herb Carnegie in the Hall of Fane!
How is the playoff MVP trophy still named after Conn Smythe? Ridiculous.
BECAUSE THIS GUY DID NOTHING, THATS WHY!
#thebest pianist EVER!
And con still has a trophy named after him. Even after what he said. To herb. Wow.
Hall of Famer! 💪✊

We dont come across great men often in our lifetime. These men were great men. Along with civilians like welles crowther, rick rescorla and others alike who lost their life helping other people to evacuate and going back up the building to save more people only to have the towers collapse on then. Truly great men.
I would like to pay tribute to these brave men, who gave a chance to others, because tehy were firefighters! To be the firefighter is state of mind, soul and heart. I am member of Voluntary Firefighter Unit, here in The Czech republic. Thank You for Your sacrifice, men! Respect and love from Czech republic, stay safe and be healthy!
True Hero's. God Bless them all.
Herb Carnegie is my great grandpa
So many Italian surnames.
1:37 the guy in the first picture is not Michael Clarke , he is Steven Coakley RIP #FFStevenCoakley #ENG217
Okay thank you. My apologies for the mistake. I'll see where I can make amends.
NHL Hof should be a shame.
I agree! The HOF likes to honor those, who never played at that level, like owners or writers.., and those on Team (Whatever powerhouse country), but won't consider great players, who should have been in the league if it were not for systemic racism; those negros, who were also exalted by other players as being more than good enough (Jean Beliveau) to have played in the league... Yes, Mr. Carnegie was that elite player! He could have set records! He was that good! Yes, it was and still is a shame!
Orlando Padilla Herb Carnegie is my great grandpa If you don’t me look up Rane Carnegie that is my dad

Rip. The celts or Irish scots were the largest ethnic group killed on 911
I counted 13 african americans and probably a handful of hispanics among the 343 portraits. Just an observation; you make up your own mind what this tells you.
Reece Jones that it doesn't matter what kind of skin you've been born with and you can choose to do a job that's being only about helping your fellow man, no matter what happens. I'm not American but I see the world as this due my navy background... It's not what you are implying and it's so sad that Americans tend to forget that day was an attempt of taking your way of living from your hands and now a days people riot over there and complain about any first responder, any job... Hell I'd not have to think twice to save you from a sinking boat but what you do? That's what America should have learned from this sad day some idiot way of thinking made some men do this. But it's not a religion that did this... It was a fellow man.. Keep your mind straight walk forward, start with yourself dear random internet person.
Reece Jones my town's fire department is mostly all white.. the town is 95 percent hispanic
He refused to play for the Rangers. He cut off his own knees.
jimsboy1mike You make a statement with no corroborating information! What college or university did you attend?
He refused to report to the rangers farm team for far less money than he made with Quebec. He had a family to support.
I have never seen this before this guy is amazing.
Never forget
i like the song.
He is my dads uncle and I cry watching this every time
He is my great grandpa!
MY IDOLS WILLIE O REE. HERB CARNIEGIE. BILL RILEY. CLAUDE VILLEGRAIN

We begged this fucking bastards.....not to build so high....our voices fell on deaf ears. This is the result. RIP my Fire Fighter Brothers.....I am Chief Fire Inspector...Ret.
people do not listen when they are told that something is a fire hazard or having a current evacuation plan because they dont think it will happen but it does happen every day I know it does because my dad is a station officer firefighter in Australia for over 20 years experience to his name I'm so sorry that people ignored your warnings about the building RESPECT FOR THE FALLEN AND RESPECT FOR ALL FIREFIGHTERS THEY DESERVE IT
Kind of strange that these photos are all black and white. Were these pictures taken in 1950? Notice how SO MANY of them resemble each other. I wonder why.
+Dexter Morgan Fuck you.
Because 1999 was 2 years ago in 2001 and these firefighters have been in the dept. for quite some time what you're seeing is the pictures from early in the career maybe around 1980
absolutely tragic loss to their families who live on I thank you for their bravery I will never forget <3
Yeah!!! Play it brotha!!!
