lol I just watched your original video where you built your island and was so inspired to build one myself ( late coming to the party). Love your room and I hope I can redo mine cuz it doesn’t make me happy right now.
I am watching you for the first time and loving your presentations and ideas! Such a great video for ideas! And your honesty is refreshing too. I look cotton catching up on your channel!
Do you still keep your scraps in the envelopes by colour? Thanks
Hiya great video. Im very new to this scrapbooking and i have a bit of a silly question... Is there a difference between a "kit" and a "collection" please? Im just trying to get a handle on terminology. I am currently using project life to go back and documnet my sons life. (I had photo albums, so have photos, dates, ticket stubs etc) But just want to condense it and make it nicer. I have signed up for monthly kits but thinking of getting some kits for like birthdays, beach days, Christmas so i can do some full page spreads too. After watching your video im thinking of an envelope for birthdays and one for Christmas etc and them seperate ones for each month....does that sound like a good idea? Many thanks
New subscriber! You have shared so many good ideas for organizing and room layout. Thank you for this lovely share - be t you can get lost in creating for hours!
I love love love this... I see you have cubes lining your room too who h I also love and plan to do I just don't know what to do with my printers.... I have 3 of them but they are so big and bulky
Have you ever written up instructions for your table??? I’d LOVE them.
Awesome! Love that you reused/repurposed most items! Great job!
Love this. Getting ready to redo my room and this will probably be what I do. If by chance you read this, 3 years later, are you still using this? Anything you would change. TY TY
I bet that a bobby pin would work on the wire shelves to hold the cards or stamps uprigbt. .
kudos to you. very well thought out and executed. there's a lot of ideas presented here and exceeds the vast majority of cube storage videos on YT.
Awesome Job !!! Thank You
Hi! Thanks so much for posting this video. You really make it look easy. May I know if you glued or screwed the top laminate thing to the shelves?
Great video! I’m thinking of making this for my craft room,
Thank you! It has been a solid work space for me, I still love it. Good luck!
Thank you
You're welcome.
I hadn't seen that little printer yet! I agree about being able to control what I print. I find I print way less of the pictures when I use my personal picture printer because I'm really studying them and being more choosey.
Great to have you back, I have really missed your video's..❤❤
😊 thank you
Very nice review !!! Love the versatility of the app & ease of use. It’s not too big which makes it portable & that is a BIG PLUS. The app features are amazing too. Thanks for sharing the review with us. 🩵🩵🩵
You're welcome :)
What paper storage do you use in 2024?
Great question! I am still using the Hobby Lobby 12x12 Paper Holders, been using it for years and is my favorite! As for my 6x8 papers, I use the mesh zipper pouches from Amazon which are linked in my amazon store if interested.
Thanks for sharing your decluttering process. I never met a craft i didnt like either😊 i appreciate all your ideas as i am at the beginning of my down-sizing.
You are so welcome!
No pegboard…just makes walls feel messy . Since the room is guest area keeps the walls more calm. My concern is with the cross bars on the front of desk …would make pulling a chair up difficult.
Desk could be put together two different ways, it was corrected after the video.
Hello, Jessica. I love your stamp organization system! How did you create the tabs for the sections within your stamps? Take care!
Thank you! I use small Avery tabs and my Ptouch label maker. Both are linked in my Amazon Shop :)
what are the drawer brackets
The drawers are from Ikea and are made for the Kallax.
I know this was posted a bit ago, but do you find the Target shelves are better than the IKEA ones, and if so...why? Thanks!
Great question! I am not sure one is better than the other, I find the quality about the same TBH.
Beautiful room!!
Thank you!!
Hi Jessica! Love how your album came together! Such precious memories!!!
Thank you 😊
She did so great!!
She really did!
At 4:12, why is the desk backwards, with the “X” part on the outside where you should slide your chair in and sit at it???
It was put together before we decided which way it was going to go. It was corrected afterwards
Thanks for sharing. Your ghost dogs were so cute. I love how interactive your pages are. I'm not sure I could do an album without page protectors.
Thank you! It took me a long while to to try without page protectors and now it’s my preferred. But I totally understand the draw to use them as well, continue to create in a manner that makes your heart happy 😊
This turned out so great!! I love all of your stories you captured in such a creative way!!! 🤍🤍
Thank you my friend ❤️
So enjoyed the book. Love the dog ghosts
Thank you 😊
So nice album! Glad you are back
Thank you 😊
Really lovely album Jessica! Thoroughly enjoyed your walkthrough. Loved all the little interactive elements. I also love those Chapters books from Heidi 😁
Thank you! I love them as well and not wait to complete more of what I have in the works!!
So glad to see a video again
Glad to be back 😊
Been thinking about you, hope all is well. No pressure for a video ❤️ just wanted to check in.
Thank you so much for reaching out. I am well, life is chaotic of course but glad to be able to pop on now and again. Thank you so much for thinking of me and your support <3
Amazing! Incredible! Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately all the links are off... Could you please tell me some (general) measurements: the desk top (the table), the first cabinet (12 cubes) and the second cabinet(4 cubes). I'm going to try to create a drawing to explain to my carpenter. Tks 😊
Over all dimensions: 65" long x 35" wide x 37" high, cube unit measurements can be obtained from either Ikea or Target. Good luck!
What is the name of the heavier envelopes and where can you find them? Great information
Those are 12x1 Paper holder from Hobby Lobby: www.hobbylobby.com/Scrapbook-Paper-Crafts/Storage-Organization/Paper-Holder---12-x-12/p/76070?queryId=81a8b9cb6049613e4e1daeea162e4aa5
I just found your channel by accident ….bloody brilliant 🇦🇺🩷💛🥰
Welcome and Thank you ❤️
You did a fab job!
Thank you so much ❤️
That's amazing... the desk is backward, though. She can't put her legs under it.
Thank you. Yes she put the desk together before we realized which way we wanted it to go. She fixed it after
@@JessicaGraceDesigns Good deal. I just notice stuff like that. Ask me about car inspection stickers... I will notice if it's out and I will tell you.
Welcome back!🎉 The clear 3 drawer bright room container from target…does it fit 12x12 paper? W/o any bending or warping?
???
Apologies for the delay in response, unfortunately they do not fit 12x12 paper without bending.
I'm so glad I found you. You are the first person I have found that does ALL the same projects that I do. One question....do you do stop the blur and project life separate or combined?
So I do not do traditional project life, but I incorporate pocket spreads into my son’s yearbook albums to capture a snapshot of each month. I do STB separate to capture all the events and moments that will help me remember when I am ready to scrap in the yearbooks. I hope that makes sense :) I am switching from 9x12 to storyline chapters albums for my yearbooks going forward as well.
I did my craftroom from Ikea last cpl yrs. It's in the loft, so there no high walls....well, one that fits a relatively tall unit. My desk is under a window with different lighting for different needs as it faces a neighbour's brick wall. I'm short, so I can just about work standing under the sloped ceiling at a long worktop, which is where I do my cutting, embossing, etc, and stack some embellishments etc. I have the cubby holes in the units but it's a case of bending down to get most stuff tho i have those cubes that slide out. At 73 with long covid it's exhausting, so i don't do as much card making, tho I only do it for fun these days. Oh, for higher ceiling and tall walls. Shelves!!!!😂
Sounds like you have made of the most of your space though, yay you!!! 😀
Let’s go!
Yes!!!
Thank you, lots of good ideas that will help me.
Glad it was helpful!
Absolutely love your craft room. Question you mention you work from. Can you say what type of work you do?
Thank you :) I work in Health Insurance for my reg 9-5
