This is pretty amazing. The Premier was lined up perfectly just seconds before touching down as the strip came into view. Wow. I suppose a Trident could have flared and touched down even without seeing the strip, common at Heathrow.

So great to again share a flight with you !! Still have your signed postcard (pinned to my office wall) & t-shirts. It's my understanding that the most common scenario for "above 100%" numbers in engine data originate from newer generation engines maintaining the same nominal RPM range as part of being added to the original type certificate, but with limits outside that nominal range thus permitting operation "beyond 100%." That or the designers, for some asinine reason known only to them, decide to set the nominal "100%" speed to some value well below the limits of sustained operation. Turbines are almost always temperature limited anyway.

To summarize the video in a very brief: in order to become a pilot (or whatever else) you need to either be young (and surrounded by good and kind people), or to have plenty and loads of money -- preferably both options.

It's pretty easy to avoid visiting bathrooms for quite a long time -- just dehydrate your body with only sipping tiny and seldom for 2-3 hours prior departure, and you are almost guaranteed 6-8 hours of quiet time :)

As an 82 yr old x private pilot with IFR and night endorsement . My plane was a Cessna Cardinal good for IFR but with no auto pilot The first IFR flight was from YXU TO YUL at night in rain at 9000 The approach was pitch black in heavy rain onto a cat lll runway with a little over 100 ft ceiling with lots of water on the runway. That was the last time that happened.

Looking at TEX ATC Charts, I'm little confused. Why are no RW27 departs SOP's published? Assuming that RW27 approach is only VFR. I'm right in the assumption that "bigger" aircraft always have to land on RW09 and to depart from RW27? I'm always exited by the RW27 circling approach! Is this approach training mandatory? How about rotors/mountain waves rw09 approach/RW27 depart at northerly winds? The same about RW27 visual approach/RW09 visual depart at southerly winds? I wonder how Jeppesen charts would look like with only ^ at elevations? Surprise!! We are in a Dead Vally with surrounding 14.000'rs!! Oops!
