Before last season started they offered Klay 24 mill... and he turned it down.. Why I have no idea.. As much as I am a fan of Klay and the Dubs Klay messed up.. He isn't the same player with a combo of injuries and age and he wanted more.. 24 mill is good . Take the damn money.. Why did he not take it and wait for what a bigger paycheck this coming season??..To me at this point Klay isn't worth more than 24 mill....... Nick doesn't know what he's yapping about.. I agree with Unc that the Dubs treated Klay fairly and not dirty..... So he turned down 24 and signed for 16 ? All because he got his feelings hurt... Makes sense to me.. If he really wanted to stay with the team that drafted him and that the Dubs meant something to him he would of put his feelings aside.. Hate to see him leave but this is all on Klay and no one else..
