I am INFP, met an INFJ, he n I have such instant chemistry…. But, he is attached, n obviously he has something to think abt. Meanwhile, I would let the Universe be the guide, as now at least I know there are this type of people suits my vibe, n finally felt hopeful. I understand is rare, but I am not gonna be the one to break someone up, I know what meant to be it will be. Fi critic comes to me as feeling worthless, inadequate and overall self-deprecation/loathing. I'm very critical of myself.
A pattern that i noticed between INFJ, ENFP, and INFP, is the INFJ and ENFP are shadow types. This means what is conscious to the INFJ is unconscious to the ENFP. Where for the INFP, like myself, can relate is I relate to both the INFJ and ENFP terms of creativity and possibilities; I can hold on to both and the same time. And it hard for me to understand the INFJ’s logical and orderly thinking process. With all that said, the INFP is a rearranged version of the ENFP.
“Connecting the dots” of possibilities is a good way to describe the INFP.
Am I right in thinking that an INFP expresses their like for someone by sharing things they equally value? I think it's their authenticity that makes them transparent in this way. That might actually be a Fi thing too.
I have met an INFP and I am interested in him, but he says he doesn't know what he wants yet. Can y'all give me some advice?
Give him a little time of freedom. If he comes on his own, it's the biggest indicator. If he don't know what he wants, and I am honest, he don't want you.
How long should someone wait to make a move on an INFP? I don’t wanna rush him
If he is spending time with you, helping you with things. Watch movies for you, shows interest in your Hobby's and searches for deep conversations, the chances are high :)

EXACTLY! I am INFJ one month in, with an INFP- attraction like a magnet, talked for hours, we are both working Artists and he also plays guitar, I suspected he was INFJ so he took the test for me, tested INFP, He's calming, soothing and healing to me when he talks. As INFJ, I project , but I can't read him either. I have told him that I feel I (really) like him already, but still waiting for him to verbalize his feelings for me more ... ❤ Hope he feels same as i do...😢
A lot of people get this wrong about Fi/Fe. Fe is actually the one who can feel the depth of the emotions, that's why we mirror people, and it's hard not too, because we can see what others are feeling clear as day. Fi on the other hand don't. They often are romantics in the traditional sense, flowers, poetry, but not so much knowing their partner deeply. They can feel their own suffering, and they end up constructing value systems on the traits that has made them feel good in the past, like kindness. They prioritize people who share these values and judge those that don't. But a lot of this is a misunderstanding. Simply, Fi is I am happy/sad (or insert whatever word you want here), and systematically tries to keep themself safe socially. Fe's feel pain, in oneself, and everyone else, and that is why they end up empathizing and knowing people deeply. An Fi is sort of trapped in a box in a way because they don't have Fe. So they end up grieving their own reality, alone instead of understanding everyone else around them is also experiencing this. This is why Fe's are a lot chipper. They don't feel alone. They see suffering all around. Fi's are often plagued with stuckness and depression for the very fact that they can't see other's emotions or sometimes even understand their own (hence all the time they need). But ultimately they kind of just move towards what feels good, and avoid what feels bad and call it a value. Fe's do the opposite, they move towards the bad, out of that empathy. So yes, they often get in unfulfilling relationships with Fi's who can't understand them back. And it's pretty draining and unhealthy to not be equally supported. I am an INFJ in a relationship with an INFP, and it has taken a lot to understand this and work through our issues. For those who just want the short meaning of the functions, I would look at it like Fi's feel deeply internally, Fe's feel deeply for others. Hence the initial magnetism.

HAI. I just finished your INFP INFJ relationship video and aghhhhh I’m so happy to see the date being 4 years and then seeing this now and it’s the lovely duo 🤭 thought i was too late. I am an INFP and my gf (Future wife) is an INFJ. We are LDR atm… but we’ve sat long enough in liking each other that I can say without a fathom of a doubt that we love each other. It was great to hear what it’s like for the types from start, interact with each other in the real world. Every video is a hypothetical…. Theoretical video, I was looking for real intimate, informative videos to base myself off of. So happy that I found y’all and idk if it still stands that you’re interested in hearing other’s perspectives but I find it that I isolate when I have to use up my social battery. She has one too and it depletes faster than mine, but she has a way of putting on a mask till the party is over. I feel like I do the same too but she instantly asks me if I’m okay like she’s the one with her finger in my switch. We call to go to sleep and I cried(I was happy she was back) when she called me back after it accidentally disconnected. She was getting flustered but I thought about her sleep and instantly pushed my happiness down till she was asleep… then I kicked and screamed on mute.

We just found your channel not too long ago and we were hoping you guys would post more videos soon! I'm also an INFP man happily married to an INFJ woman. We've had our share of struggles and difficult times but we do get along so well. We share the same quirky sense of humour and know each other well enough to anticipate when the other will say or do something and laugh about it. We share similar likes and hobbies, like hiking, being outdoors, photography and fishing to name a few. She truly is my best friend and I'm so very thankful she was patient enough to wait around for me lol I proposed to my wife at the Niagara Whirlpool. All she knew was we were going fishing there and I had bought a new "lure" for her. She also got shaky leg syndrome when I proposed haha

@@infjAJ I think it is maybe a combination of similar upbringings but also the fact that both personality types are creative and artistic and although they may not share exactly the same hobbies/ arts in every aspect, each one can appreciate and understand that it's what the other is passionate about.

Infp can make the first move but it's better for people to want them/making the first move especially if you're an Se user . Don't worry, infp usually like people making the first move and if the infp rejects you it will be the subtlest thing ever haha.
