  @@m4rtx Maybe I was unclear. They said that they will reset to their original positions whenever you log out of whichever character you move any alts on. They even showed this at the end 51:48

  Dragon Trigger 2 really is completely unusable now. Shame, b/c like old arc divider it was one on of the few "actually fun buttons" that warrior had to push. They really should have just let the distance alone and nerfed the aoe size. But my guess is that would have required changing the animation and that would have taken actual work -_-

  Does anyone understand the Anet balance strategy? It doesn’t seem to me that they have any strategy when it comes to balancing the game. I challenge anyone from Anet to explain their strategy for balancing GW2 publicly!

  If you haven't seen it, you might be interested in the "Balance Philosophy" Livestream that they did over a year ago, Where they kind of? explained their balance playbook. I even did a "how did they do" report card video a couple months ago to see what they did well on and what not so much! 😄 Power creep's definitely one of the things that's getting kinda nuts lol. And I'd love a 2nd followup to it by ANet!

  @@GW2Pseudo I saw that video of the live stream, but didn’t get much from it. I’m just frustrated with Anet’s performance in a lot of areas, including balancing. They have the best MMORPG in my opinion, but they are managing it very poorly and I hate to see them squander their opportunities over and over again. It makes me wonder how many of the original GW developers are still working for Anet?

  @@traveling.down.the.road56 I do agree with you that GW2's combat/balance system (even still today) has like the best combat potential of any, ANY MMO, period. It could be so, so SOoooooo much better. But I often find myself wondering "What would GW2 look like if they had focused on Combat+Balance instead of story, cosmetics, and being genuinely player-friendly in a way that doesn't hate their user base. And honestly, I think it would have been interesting, but I don't think it would still be going 11 years later. I'm not saying you are, but you can't get mad at the devs that have 0 to do with Combat decisions. They're doing their job, *mostly well,* I might add yo keep the functional parts of the game going. You CAN get mad, or at least justifiably frustrated, at the Balance team that seems to make baffling/undocumented/unexplained Balance changes, and demand better. -- To try to facilitate more of a healthy dialogue, maybe even between players + devs is like half the reason I started making videos on this channel. But in all seriousness I'd love a followup or "Part 2" to that Balance Philosophy Livestream, cause seriously, stuff is kinda ?? right now. Hopefully we get more explanation after Janthir Wilds releases lol

  Man I miss the old arc divider. Used to play rifle berserker and the arc divider was perfect to end the fights. Sometimes if you were lucky you blew the ass out of thieves stealthing up to you xD

  I just don't get where Warrior's damage is supposed to be rn in PvP or WvW if not there/DT. Or really what Arc Divider's supposed' to do outside of being a worse version of Arcing Slice

  @@squirrelteamseven.5236 Well it used to be so good because of the multi-hit stripping aegis or blind. I would like to see that mechanic moved to normal arc divider and you get more hits for each bar of adrenaline

  Better than GS atm. Because most of GS's power is in the F1, which is moot on Bladesworn because you don't have one.

  Because despite people's complaints on socials, warrior isn't really in that bad of a spot. It's in monthly ATs, still topping WvW zerg dps meters, still good at roaming, and still a good pick for PVE instanced content. People who play it a lot are understandably frustrated with bugs and outdated or poor designs (I know I am), but none of that is so bad it prevents the class from doing good in current content.

  This ^. Spellbreaker will always exist. So Warrior will always be relevant in PvP. And Berserker will always be gravitated to over the other 2 in PvE because it's actually kind of Fun to play. That's why the best we can (probably) hope for is (probably at some point) a rework/revert/retouch to Bladesworn. I've probably gaslit myself enough on this, but it doesn't really "DO" anything in any game mode rn. And is an actual unfun mess. So (c)hopium is that someone with a brain eventually looks at the class and realizes that it is so far away from the original creative vision for it that they either finally do something *interesting/fun* with the Grandmaster Traits >> See recent re-touches to Arms/Tactics, or we get an entire revert of the things that make it unfun: i.e. DT2, DD, Hopefully not TR, etc.

  BsW being an EoD weeb-bait is crazy. Not only was it abandoned as a spec but it also denied us of a proper warr 3rd spec in the form of a staff-wielding support warrior "monk" which would still be in line with EoD.

  Lol thx, DT doesn't matter as much with this build. It's frustrating sure. But it helps that most of the power is leveraged onto the cc's. 😁
