Phil rules and inspires since day 0
Love the sound of that guitar p90 semi hollow wow very versatile guitar
That's the best sounding guitar I've ever heard on this show not even close
I think that guitar sounds like shit
This dude's fucking crazy but I like his guitar playing Great tone
Where’s Phill ?
Funny to think about how much this guitar has probably increased in value even since this video was uploaded
This Byrd sounds terrific!!!🎶🎸👍
2024 watching again. He inspired me to pick up the guitar again after my mom's passing. Thanks Phil
He never came back 🥲
13 years later, I hope you took that one home with you!
Gosh... I missed this a lot. And here I'm 12 years later seeing the only guitar reviewer that entertain. Phil X
You just made me wanna but another guitar
Always loved this guitar
That clash song goes to f after g
Fun fact you probably already knew: Jimmy played the "Stairway To Heaven" solo not on the 'Les Paul he was known to primarily use, but on the Fender Telecaster Jeff Beck as a gift.
Les Paul?
The tele's going through this fad where every garage guitar player soaks it with gobs of distortion playing everything from IRON MAN to some other crap! Case in point JOHN 5 -- IT'S CHILD ABUSE!!! IT'S CHILD ABUSE!!! 1962 BIGHEAD STRAT!
Pure choochness in view
I had the lbanez copy80',also used by Mike Oldfield, there was the 6/12strings used by Massimi Morante of Goblin...anyway you play and sing greatly..😅
Where ya been Phill
He's on tour with Bon Jovi.
Mate, you the man 👍🏻
He's good.
Tweet from a twatter
Damn Jared’s put on at least like 30 pounds of muscle since this was recorded 😂
Okay, but...can it chug?
where is this guy nowadays??? he rocks!
Replacing Richie Sambora @ Bon Jovi. 🙂
STRIPED, yes. STRYPER, no. No one called it a “Stryper” guitar. STRYPER was, and still is, a Christian metal/hard rock band.
I love when can kick ass and have fun and get the point across!!!! The 59 JR. Rules
He looks like a combo of stutter john and sammy hagar.
What’s name of the intro song? Is it to find on Spotify??
what was that !!! i do that all the time because i dont know what i did
Yeah, The Scorpions. That reminds me: "Mine Shaft" is what Rudy Schenker calls his penis
My father caught me snorting cocaine when I was 12...he said If he ever caught me again....he would ...'rub my nose in it' - :) - you played the Marc Bolan song intro 'WRONG'
I was not expecting the Lifeson lick, but I like it.
2024 and this is still goated
Should I stay or should I go? Please. Go. 😁
So talented
I remember when KZread was brand new, and Phil X made these videos. I used to love watching them when I was new into playing.
Best video EVER.
What a babe
hello phil fretamerica,I am thrilled about this videoclip.I know george had two 6122 models.and maybe a 3rd,,,,i was takeing my first music lesson,in oct64,after i signed in I was waiting to meet my teacher,I heard someone playing a guitar,it was the country 6122,its the first time I saw a guitar up-close,I was say 2-3 feet in front,I saw the grover imperial gears ,the pickguard had the gretech name only, the chet singature was put on later in the 60s,dont know when, after my lesson,,it was above my room ,in plastic, with the gretech logo, brand new,it was semi gloss black,I never did see it again, and I never asked why,in my gretech catalog from 68-69,its walnut brown and the photo seem not acuerate, but at the music store ,with the single flourecent buld ,the walnut color is there, they did make the nashville,6120 in black, and the 6122,12 string version in black,in the 60s ,the lighting in the tv studios was low because it was B&W TV..and the colors of instruments looked off,,,after gretech was sold to the baldwin corp,I read all the blueprints, drawings, documents were not preserved,so no info is available, what a sad fact if its true,,even the walnut model that george played looked black, because the angle cancles and filteres out the brown,,and it appears black, but I have a magazine where its faceing down, the pad is black, and the neck is black, and its a flash that is always daylight.so george may have had a third guitar, whats you view on this, thanks ,dan diorio,,,,
We all know Phil X is the freakin Gun Slinger Extraordinaire but that Rhythm Section. Dang!
Piss on the haters! I love what you do man! You’re the rocker that is and always be
That was a fantastic demonstration...Phil X is my favorite guitarist...
That one sounded siiiiick 😂
