    What's about the launch angle compared to the regular aero 100? Is the stringbed more open in the center? Does it affect flat shots?

    What noticed is how lead can really mess these rackets up. I put 4 grams at total on pure aero 100 and it completely screwed the racket up, and i even counter balanced with 6 grams in the handle. I ripped off half and it play awesome. Extreme tour, I out 2 in the handle and 6 in the hoop and it felt great. Head rackets are not as picky and im not sure why. Babalots might create more power thus you have to be careful with swing weight, it may of been better to put that weight at 3 and 9 instead for some swing weight and stability. Head rackets are pretty stable so i out some lead higher up for head racket due to being less powerful. Speed MP tho 100's totally different animal, that thing is a monster at serve, i put 6 grams int he handle 1/2 tape and its probably the biggest serve ive had next to the pure drive.

    The stringbed on these racquets is somehow not consistent, thats why he was occasionally having bad misses. Its like there are hotspots innthe stringbed and if you hit a bit off center skmetjmes the ball will fly even though younuse your regular stroke. It doesn't give you that reliable feeling and even though these racqurts have potential they aren't there yet for reliable tournament play

    Overall solid serve, Cade, but a little higher ball toss will help you a lot by allowing you to set up more in your trophy position. Honestly, I think a pinpoint serve stance as opposed to platform will also serve you better. Your weight transfer should bring you more into the court.

  • @tomk5238
    @tomk5238Күн бұрын

    Na, if you watch roddick, shelton, sam groth. They all have a low toss. A low toss ensures the ball doesnt accelerate. Roddick also serve with a narrow platform and he hit 153. So nope these comments just arent valid at all.

    I was thinking the exact same thing. Rock your momentum back toward the back fence so you can slingshot that kinetic energy up and/or forward depending on which serve you hit. It brings more efficient power. You have good fundamentals in your serve though. It is an easy thing to build on that won’t disrupt your rhythm and timing.

    rocking motion coming back onto your right back leg, that way you can have more of a solid base at your height and use more momentum going into the serve! You are very fundamentally sound already just one thing i noticed, unless you are transitioning into a pin point service motion

  • @TennisReboot

    Exactly what I saw too. Tossing a little more into the court will also allow you to better utilize the increased forward momentum provided by the weight transfer.

    Substitute ' technology ' for features because that's what they are. Auxtetic is polyurethane. Nothing more. i'm a tennis player and i tried pickleball to teach my daughter some racket sport where she can handle the racket more easily. i found myself needing to slap the wiffleball more - like lots of wristy action - that would not be good in tennis - just to get enough pace on the wiffleball. i see your strokes in the video are really too athletic for pickleball, in my opinion. you are using tennis strokes with good kinetic chain from the ground up and i just don't think that much strength is required in pickleball. it may actually cause you to hit with less velocity b/c you really need to just slap at it to get it going. when i used my arm in pickleball, it felt like it hurt more than just whipping my wrist around b/c there is no weight on the paddle.

    Here in San Diego they converted all 12-15 tennis courts in a club into pickleball just because they earn more money renting courts all day long. Sucks! Also there is nothing more annoying playing tennis next to someone playing pb. I don’t mind pb as long as they get their own courts and not INVADE or take over tennis courts.

    I almost passed on this string but tried it based on your review. I traded a set of Zero for it. I took your advice and strung it at 47lbs in my Aero 98 1.20. I really liked it and will likely purchase a reel. The control was top notch and the launch angle was just right. You were right about the launch angle being lower than the zero which I definitely found too high. Thanks for your review.

    In 90s when I was 12 yo kid and when I competed in tennis tournaments I had about 360 g racket. It was really a standard back then and it was considered to be light. Even my dad always told me the racket was very light and the rackets were way heavier in the past. Now das tell their children the same thing.😂

    Hi, I have ordered a set of the Grapplesnake Tour M8 1.25 for my Wilson Blade v9 18x20, I’ve been reading A LOT about the string…. In terms of tension, what would u recommend for this racket? I’ve played with 4G at 46lbs and loved that, I’m hoping I’ll still get the same playability, control and tension maintenance but with a little extra pop than 4G with Tour M8, would u say I’ll get this? And was thinking of going maybe 48lbs? What u think? Thanks again
