  i grew up on poorly dubbed, imported Jackienchan movies since kindergarten. Whwn Rumble in the Bronx came out, and my mother and i saw the trailer, we didn't recognize him being older and with his new look. When they said, "Jackie Chan" we both yelled out, "What!?" in the theater lol

  I got this cassette as a little boy, much the same way this kind did. I was bored, so my mom gave it to me as an early birthday present. I didn't know Matthew Mcconaughey was a magician. 🙃😜😂

  These methods look simple but each one takes months and years of practice to perfect. like palming, steal and switch, misdirection, double card lift all of these take years of practice and dedication.

  I taught myself sleight of hand from age 8 or so to probably 24. So for the guy that made the comment of getting laid from these tricks. I can’t count how many times a college get together turned into strip poker with the ladies when I went to IU circa 1997. You would think they would realize i was cheating when every male kept every stitch of clothing other than a shoe or a sock and the ladies everything off BUT their socks :). To be young.

  The first time I saw this film in 2006 I thought the chanting singing was Hooked on Feeling and I'd start doing the Ooka Shagga part of the song and replace all the words with Ooka Shagga

  Brendan: (in amazement) "How'd you do that?!?" Ammar: "That's not important right now." "The Magic Video" (really couldn't think of a better name?) is gold. My friends and I watched/made fun of this throughout the 90s/00s and now that I've discovered it on KZread am ecstatic that we can pick up right where we left off. If you ever had any aspiration of becoming a professional magician watching this video would immediately make you question your life choices.

  I remember watching this as a kid in the 90s and being really interested in magic. 24 years later and doing these tricks in a bar in Japan got me laid. Thank you, Michael Ammar!

  I remember watching this video as a kid..thanks for posting! The real trick is how this wizzard turned the cardboard coat hanger tube into a magic wand in the beginning....he didn't explain that one....

  The Wizard waits until Brendan's mom is gone to show up and then leaves as soon as she announces she's back. The Wizard touches Brendan several times and then implores Brendan not to share their secret.

  Part of the reason this movie seems so nonsensical is that it parodies A LOT of 80s pop culture from Hong Kong and China. Sort of like if you watched the scene in Fanily Guy that parodied Tron. . .but you never even heard of Tron and didnt even know it was a parody.
