Samsung watches are very inaccurate for health measurement. I won't even bother buying one

I'm returning mine because of the inaccurate health sensor readings and step counter. Was really hoping it would have been better than what we got.
@VilePain Just may need a software update or maybe try doing a device wipe, but I have not had an issue with mine. It has been pretty awesome and so comfortable to wear.
I somewhat disagree.The watch I purchased is the BP Doctor Pro device model Y001 in 2024.. Meaning it is not the latest one where the band inflates underneath the watch, only on one side. It is OK as I want to have the Heart rate reading. My take is this: this watch needs a lot of improvements. 1 -The BP readings are not reliable: I took a reading with the watch and one after few minutes with my BP machine and they do not jive especially the SYSTOLIC reading. 10 points and sometimes plus differences between the watch and the machine. 2 - the cuff is too short for me, and the cuff metal part is flimsy. Will break eventually and this is not repairable. See picture. 3 - There is no French language available. A no-no to be sold in Canada especially in Quebec and other parts of the world. 4 - Instructions are not always complete, and it takes time to figuring them out. But if you have the time they work. 5 - The display options are minimal - only 3 standards but could get more if you download them. Not many with date and day. 6 - The watch battery does not last… I left my watch on at night not on my wrist. The battery was 41% in the morning, and no, I did not sleep for 3 days! Conclusion: I would not buy this watch for reliable BP monitoring. There are better one out there, but they are more expensive.

@Urgent-minister You should be able to move the cam using the directional pad in the app. I am not sure why you are getting the encrypted channel, though. May have something to do with your network.

Thanks for the reply. It is all up to date and was rebooted. Trued original cables and they only work if plugged directly into thw laptop, not the usbc hub. It's unfortunate as thw monitor description mentioned the abito use a hub.
Oh I see, yes I have not tested using a USB Hub. Is the USB hub plugged into a Thunderbult port on your laptop? If not, maybe try with the hub plugged into the Thunderbult port and monitor it in the hub.
@nerdgadget When I first unboxed my monitor it worked no problem. Now when I try to connect using any of the cables (USBC, USBA, HDMI, the monitor opens with a whtie screen with S@ logo and then says there is no source, and goes into power save mode. My laptop works just fine and is plugged into power. Any thoughts?

Both! I would expect any cables to work, not just the specific ones provided. I will try again with the provided cables this evening, but it doesn't help me at this moment. Lol
@NicholMWatson Make sure your laptop is all up to date with the latest patches and other updates. If it is, try rebooting your laptop and then try with those cables again.

@BBBinJAX I believe it can, actually. Unfortunately, I no longer have it as I gave the watch away. If I recall correctly, it can count with the app or Bluetooth.

I got mine . the speakers are too weak like whispering. I dunno if it's defective or not. the volume is like vol 1 in the usually vol 10 sound

Thanks for the review. I have 2 questions. Do I need to keep my Bluetooth on the whole time? Also, does the watch or does the app more accurately track my steps?
@LA-bz3rv If you want to receive notification and have the watch track your health data, Bluetooth needs to stay on. Regarding which device is more accurate for tracking I not completely sure, but my guess would be the watch.

I brought mine because the price was right and because of the FM Radio which i have not seen anyone talk about in their reviews. Mine did not come with instructions. I can get it to FM mode but cannot hear any stations inside or outside of the house. So for me these for usless.

Yes you are able to right from the settings menu in the app.
Any idea how to reset it if you forgot the password?
There is a reset hole that you could use a paperclip to stick in and hold for about 10 seconds while it's powered up, which should reset it.

I truly appreciate your feedback, and yes, me saying alright is such a bad habit to the point I miss it during my editing. The reason I talk slower is because I naturally talk fast and have had so many requests to talk slower as people miss out on what I have said in the video. So this has been quite a challenge for me, regarding the speech
