Hello Scott loving the country walking bass lessons mate . I’m still learning the root 5th and trying to get my head around what each note is and remembering them , I’ve down loaded the Nashville number system also . I’m making progress on your I think 1 and 9 uploads on country bass lessons . I love country music and would love to play along to stuff like Waylon Jennings , Merle haggard . Hank Williams and willie Nelson . Anyway brother I hope you upload more country bass lessons . In the meantime I’m just going over your 1 and 9 bass lessons , any other tips you can give me buddy ? I’m also teaching my self mainly the major scales like C , G , D , F ones . Any other suggestions would be much appreciated mate . Hope to hear from you soon Scott . Take care . 🤘

I think I like the sound of a Ukulele better and it’s easier to play and they cost a lot less. Wetting the pick to help it stick! That’s a keeper. I’ve watched hundreds of lessons on guitar and never seen that tip. Thanks 🤙

Kudos for explaning it that simple, used to be able to play melodies on a chromatic, but watching and playing along to this video made be able to jam along in propper blues style with the track at the end with my D harp. 🫶 I need to work on getting faster for the train blues style though.

Your teaching is brilliant and valuable to me Also wanted to ask will you be doing more bass lessons on either country or blues which I love . I loved this guitar solo. It put a smile on my face! I'm new to learning to play country western. I particularly want to kearn to play 50s and 60s country and rockabilly guitar. I mentioned in a comment on one ofbyour other videos that I love the Leon Rhodes (spelling???) Billie Bird stuff with Ernest Tubb and the Texas Trupadeurs. I'd love to learn the lead parts to "Thanks A lot.". I love all the Grady Martin and Hank Garland, Paul Yandell stuff. I love Johnny Horton's rockabilly years with Grady Martin playing these really tough sounding licks. Anyway, any lessons with stuff like that I would love! Either way, I love what you do and I am so grateful for your channel!
