Hello, our names are Tarah and Angie, we are a Canadian/US couple and we have been living full time in our small RV since Aug 2020 with our fur babies Bennie (cat) and Stella (dog). Our RV is a 13ft 1972 boler which we lovingly restored from 2015 to 2017. In Aug 2020 we moved out of our home, put everything in storage and took off for the summer. What started as a summer of traveling has turned into the biggest adventure of lives so far. We'd love to have you along as we explore North America, from RV campgrounds to the strange and unusual hidden gems and everything in between.

If or when those lights go out -- it's pitch black!
there are similar caves at 350 hwy and the Blue River (MUCH SMALLER) that my company owns and uses as our Fleet Management. (Road Maintenance company)
recently.....some NEW caves near Independence had a cave in forcing the closure of a major hiway (291)
HAVE TO CHIME IN...... Kansas City Mo & Kansaa City KS, although sharing many miles of border, NO, its NOT the same city....KCK has consolidated with Wyandotte County has become the " Consolidated Goverment of Wyandotte County".....electing its own council and Mayor.....while KCMO has its own Mayor & City council. Its all part of the KCMO-KCK-Overland Park Metropolitan Area.
KCMO is the Chiefs side. Hehe There's also HLS & DOD cave complex's (diff. locations) but looks identical. Thx for sharing
Great place for dental work . Smiles specialist is where I went. They are friendly, knowledgeable etc , the best.
Love driving in this place. It is open to the public and all kinds of Conspiracy Theories abound on this location. It is all bunk. I have been to every corner.

This is the first time I've been to your channel. Two things I appreciate. Your camera was mounted and steady, not some jerky janky cell phone stuff. And you didn't endlessly chatter repetitively like most KZreadrs feel they must.

its a nice place to get away i think its still free camping no power tho but its safe place

Great walk thru , probably the best I've seen on YT so far. What were the border times like getting back to the US parking lot. I only had two people in front of me coming back in May.
Thank you so much. We went in mid December and left before noon. No wait times. I have heard after lunch time line ups are worse. And peak season Jan/feb the line ups can be hours long.

I read a techno thriller book. An ex military hit team had their headquarters/armory in that complex. Hunt Midwest as in the Hunts who own the KC Chiefs.
I think maybe you've been SLEEPING in the Boler, not living in it since it's far too small to be anything but a bed for sleeping.
Lol I guess that is one way of looking at it. We do sleep in the boler that is correct. And we try to spend as much time outside as we can, a big reason we try to follow the weather.
There are a LOT of other such caves in the Kansas City Metro area. It leads the nation in underground storage... Things stored range from groceries and frozen foods to Part of the National Archives, the post office has their rare stamps for Philatelist (stamp collectors). Film studios have their rare film masters and anything you can imagine. All because the area sits on a major Limestone deposit.
Also, Worlds of Fun AND Oceans of Fun are located directly above! Not on this tour is Pillsbury freezer that is on the same site and is located next to it, but has a separate entrance. Because it is a giant freezer and needs to be closed off. It is considered to be the largest underground freezer in the world.
Don't forget Meritex over off of 95th and Renner.

We did try outback pizza while there last season. I agree they serve very good pizza, we really enjoyed it
