  Instead of changing the Kelvin value often, I prefer to shoot with D-Log and apply LUTs. I think that is the simpler way to shoot.😂😂

  No color grading would have been needed if he had shot in HLG, and then the video would have been in HDR here. But this idiot is a witness of 24 frames per second and a shutter speed of 1/50. I would have punished such people already. It's like trying to prove now that vinyl records are better.

I have a Sony Zve10 and I was a little bit lost with so many information in KZread and none of them was working till I find your video and definitely learn how to expose properly.   Hi, I know it's not related to this video, but I have a problem with slog2 on my sony zv e10. I watched your 20 min tutorial related to this and it helped me understand certain things. The problem is that I want to film cars, so there won't be fixed frames where I can control everything. You recommend in that video that for volgs we set the shoot mode to Aperture Priority, but I don't want to change the shutter speed (filming in 25 fps, I want it to be 1/50). So I set the shoot mode to Shutter Priority and the exposure comp. I set it to +1.7, only that when I move to the side of the car where it is darker because of the shadows, based on the histogram, it seems to be underexposed. Do you have any suggestions on what I could do? (I can't find anything on KZread that shows how we should use slog2 in motion, only steady shoots).

  Thanks. I used 4K25p, 1/50 shutter, manual ISO (I kept it as low as possible), manual WB (depending on the scene). The filters I used are from Freewell. I can highly recommend them! I’ve made about them on my channel if you want to check out. Cheers!

  The offtop about the buffalos and swimming was also as great as the topic itself. Thanks for the review. The only thing I dislike in Pocket 3 is focus breathing, all the rest is just amazing. Let me also add that Pocket 3 built-in mics are also highly suitable for music recording. I've been recording playing drums and the sound quality is impressive comparing to a cell phone. Also, recorded a couple of concerts - pretty clear and deep sound without distortion.

  I'm sure that if you film in hot climates for long periods of time, it will overheat, but it has never happened to me.

  There is an excellent case made by Sunnylife which is light and strong. It fits over the gimal and screen like a clamshell. As for a tilting screen, well, in a way it does tilt. If in your mind you think of the whole body of the camera as a screen, and think of the gimbal head as the camera, you can tilt one relative to the other to quite an extent. But I agree that it is not always enough. Anyway, thanks for this excellent review.

  I'd go for the Pocket 3, unless you need to film action sports. I'm not sure how the pocket 3 works as a web cam though. I've never used it this way..

  Amazing footage! Small question from a noob: Why wouldn't you just record everything in 50fps or higher by default so you have the option of always using it for slow motion? Filming specific clips in 24fps and others in 50fps (to me) seems like you'd be unnecessarily switching between settings the whole time?

  First of all, it takes more space, but that's not a big deal. However, what's more important to me is that it affects motion blur. If you film in 4k50p or higher and add this footage to a standard 4k25p timeline without slowing it down, it will look a bit jittery. I'm not a big fan of that.

  Using a gimbal and putting on top of fluid head should give you very smooth tilt and pans.
