Can I use it in a paddle board?
Hi great video! Very helpfull! I am new to the wing sup. I want to know how difficult it would be to navigate the inflatable SUP without a big daggerboard in the middle of the board? I just bought a SUP without a middle fin and I don't want to convert it due to warranty. Woulld it be rough to sail on it with a wing?
the top 1 tutorial on wing surf on all Internet.
Been waiting for the 5 m since march 2024. Consequently the 3.5. This interview is embarrassing. Me Apprehensive now. That gal repeats too much. Talks too much. No clue about media communication. I thought you would remove this “thing” and make a real pro show interview. Like starboard first class for dozens of years. Now i have to see it again a third time. I still do not get it. Is this zipper wing for us intermediate surfers ? Or is it pro go ? U see ? I come from the strike. I want your boom … but no zippers. Please give us a better fluent information about the people’s wing 😊 And guys. Please. Look closely minute 4:45 to 05:00. What is this ? 😊 The host ? The guest ? is alright bored in excess trying to wake up the cloudy clueless gal. One word : vulgar :0) One thing we are sure You do better. I am sorry. But with all the media communication and incredible footage available to the mass … ??? 😮😮😮 Love you guys. And i very much appreciate your inputs and hot motivational efforts. Thank you and surf love ❤
¡¡¡ Por fin un vídeo bien explicado de como levantar el vuelo !!!. Muchas Gracias.
why bring class racing to a sport that's 4 years old and where technology is still developping at break neck pace??? Seems very arrogant from Starboard & Freewing to me to think that they cracked the winging formula already. The fact that they already have a new double profile wing ontop of the normal one is proof that it's way to early for one design. In 5 to 10 years we can adress the class racing formula again, until then it's a waste of money for any race avid winger to sink their money into this gear
Nice video - how does one repair a hole in the double profile ? Accessing both sides seems difficult
Nah. I think is the same. Fix one or both sides. Not an issue.
@@HungerStrike-uo4sxEveryone recommends to tape both sides when doing a small home repair which is my initial question. A pro repair with sewing obviously only needs to access one side
i love the zipper tech
Inclusivity sounds good. - when a bladder pops on the seam, as can happen, can you easily order a replacement?
Hey Will, on the Ho'okipa airframe we haven't had much trouble with bladders, however, we will ensure aftermarket bladders are available by suppliers such as Dr Tuba.
@@FreewingWorld Thanks for the quick response - that's great 👍
Nice Svein :-) time to come to Lista 🙂 I want that wing 6.5 Svein, remember the fish in WA 🙂 Wen we tested it 🙂 001
👍🤙❤
Question: I am trying to get on foil but the board is not lifting up despite fairly good speed. The nose of the board is yawing back and forth. Do I need to be farther forward or farther back?
What type of board are you using? It sounds like it is 'stuck' and not releasing easily. Usually at take off you can kick the back foot to lift foil angle of attack and then level off quickly.
@@FreewingWorld Naish S-26 140L .... with 2400 front wing ...I am at 100kg. Thanks for your response!
Best video about foiling
Congrats Liam
Ура! в теории я почти научился!!!!
Time?Distance?

Brilliant, thanks.

Great tutorial, really! Thank'you!
Fun!! Cant wait to try these new skills
Wow awesome instruction videos... thanks alot
Wenn ich 30 Kilo wiegen würde, könnte ich das auch...
😂😂🙌
Awesome mate🫶
This is less of a wing and much more of a kite, both in form and in aerodynamic behavior. The name of this sport is a misnomer, it should be called Handkiting. Still cool, though.
Thanks

Thanks from Hong Kong
Really detained video ! Interesting!

This video answered most of the questions in my head

Thanks for the great video, its really very well put together. Now I need to find lessons in Ireland. Happy Foiling to all here.
Dude thanks this has been really helpful. Many other YTubers only talk about the setup but don’t actually DO the setup. So when I found your video I was so relieved. Thank you! 🎉🤙
You're most welcome Hendrik. Zane is the best! Happy flying
been struggling to learn to gybe on a starboard 115 lt board, and a 2000 low aspect foil, would it be easier on some different/ smaller kit?
Great series, thank you
Board and foil size? :)
Your shore brake is a micro shore brake. You have no current due to wind and tides. Your wind is rather constant laminar wind. Come visit Netherlands: tides, current, shore brake, very gusty wind and mega chop in between waves.
Very concise and helpful. The best tutorial I found and I spent hours searching. Than you very much. Please continue to broadcast 🙏
Thank you Sam, really like your explanation
Outstanding production. Thank you so much!
Thanks Peter, happy you enjoyed it. Please don't forget to give our channel a follow as we plan to release more videos.
Foot straps, don't they complicate things when starting off, I see they are doing no good to lock the person on the board as they are mega loose anyway. Just my opinion, thanks.
Yewwww 🤙🧜♂️🏝️
thanks for this perfect video
Why such a big 85l board?
Super ! How to begin if the sea is moving a lot
Around minute one you give a tip for going upwind: pulling the wing towards the back shoulder and holding handles towards the back of the wing, like in windsurfing. But don't you find it's really exhausting and causing shoulder and knee tendinitis, much more than in windsurfing, or do I miss something ? Does it work better with such and such foils, such and such wings ?
Probably should add that it's best to leave the wing in the shade because it will accumulate UV damage if left in the sun.
