Chris and Pattie Nachtrieb began Chris' Coffee Service in 1975. Chris was delivering coffee "kits" from his red El Camino while Pattie was handling calls and paperwork throughout the day. Yes, you can have just the coffee boiler turned on! You turn off the steam boiler simply by pressing the "boiler" button (2nd from the right)
Hi all. I am having problem to enter service menu +,-,+ (hold) combination. Per Manual I should enter programming mode. Are there any solution to hard reset grinder and try to enter into the programming mode (+,-,+ with holding plus button for 5 sec). Thank you!

What are the tell signs that this pressurestat is bad?
I would love to see a blind taste test done. I get the flow/dispersion theory and difference between the two is visibly there, but the flow still looks pretty dribbly even on the Precision clip. If I have this right, for $40+ you get the Precision which still needs the lower half of the full screen assembly which only costs $10. I know this is coffee we’re talking about, so money is… irrelevant. 🤣 The Real Sprometheus did a good job showing very little difference chemically as well as subjectively.

Thank you for your reply, because you reminded us to remove them from our website because they're all expired (2018)! To answer your question though - it will go off audibly until it's removed from the liquid and dried off. No it does not need to be smashed, cut or disabled. Yes, you can dry & reuse.

I have a problem with the OPV pressure valve on the Quick Mill Carola PID. When the screw is fully turned counter clockwise on the back flush disc, the minimum value is 12 bar. I cannot reduce the pressure below 12 bar. I can only increase this value. Is this espresso machine like this or is something wrong? Maybe there is another way?
The DT has only one boiler. It does not have flow control

When did they make the changes from the original Anita 0990? What are the changes and models since introduction? Specs are hard to find for point by point comparison. Can older models be updated?
Just imagine the market share these could have if the only included a printed manual in english! nope... seems to be too much work or cost. decent machine, but good luck finding a tech in your area who has even heard of Unic. Our tech sold us on it, installed it, then moved out of state.
Love the look of this espresso machine 😍It's a thing of beauty! If I were in the market I'd probably get it... however I purchased the Andreja Premium by Quick Mill from you guys, probably back 20 years ago, and that is a great machine too, I've kept up with the maintenance (repaired a few things) and still working strong. You guys have great service department and excellent machines... Quality stuff! I'm a very Happy Customer.

how long is the cool down from 250 degrees for steam to 200 degrees for espresso? when I tried it took way too long, milk started to cool. don't think this is the right machine if you are looking to always do milk drinks? does make awesome espresso though. luv the digital shot timer.
