what nib is it, fine or extra fine?
Thank you, i benefited a lot from this - especially your discussion of running hand, leaving spacing between letters, and establishing a rhythm.
Hi, back in 2004 to 2005 Meghan taught calligraphy at Paper Source in Beverly Hills, Ca. She also worked as a freelance calligrapher in 2017 the year she was engaged to Harry. Meghan is certainly gifted. She used that talent in writing a long letter to the Procter and Gamble company when she complained about the soap dish ads back in 1993 when she was eleven years old, a middle school student. The Inside Edition was very impressed by her penmanship.
Love watching this from India
I'm impressed by the quality of your content.
Thanks, the pinky glide tip is amazing bc i can write wide and ledible without moving my hand too much and can add shoulder movement to capitals and flourishes!
this was SUPER helpful :3 thanks
Congratulations! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work and i just purchased your book yesterday. I'm curious are you part of IAMPETH?
I was taught cursive in 1957 when the Zaner-Bloser Method relied heavily on the Palmer Business Cursive for its cursive training. This handwriting is so similar to my own, given my personal idiosyncracies developed over decades of handwriting. It's a pleasure to watch you write...
Amazing !!
“Im not like affiliated with this (blue)” 😭😭😭 Oh my god I love these videos so much
Đẹp quá,tôi có thể hỏi bản 1 ở đâu ạ
Wow your writing is so elegant. Thansk for the tips.
I checked Amazon, the Leonardt EF is all sold out. Luckily! Paper and Ink Arts carry them and their shipping is pretty fast too I usually get my stuff within two days or so. Thank you for posting this video! ^^
In my opinion, you have the most beautiful handwriting among the followers of the Palmer Method. Even considering that you allow movement with your hand, not just with your hand.
Such a relaxing and informative video!
thank for sharing and i like the way are writting...effortless
Beautiful! I think you used a few different letter forms from the first video in this series? Your lower case "r" varied, as did your capital "F". Perhaps some others also, but I remember these.
When you move your pen off the screen it sounds as if you might be screwing something on it? Please, what is happening, and is it something i need to be doing? Also, I i started learning cursive in 1957 in the Second Grade. Evidently my school taught the Zaner-Bloser system because we learned block printing in the first grade, and our old maid Second Grade teacher started us in cursive the first day of school! The cursive we learned was either Palmer Business Cursive or a version of it, because it's very familiar to me. However, teachers allowed us to develop our own handwriting and mine doesn't look that much like Palmer Business Cursive anymore. PBC is lovely -- so simple and yet elegant. I am making some changes to more closely mimic this traditional handwriting. Thank you for your video. I enjoyed watching you write!
That's a good one pretend they don't exist 😅
I would love to have your beautiful writing! I would be happy if I was as good as you call mistakes. As a beginner you convinced me, so just received my dip nib and love practicing. I really appreciate information of inexpensive nib & holder for this beginner. Watching all your invaluable videos! Your videos are wonderful. You are an excellent teacher explaining that has encouraged me to attempt penmanship. Thank you❤
Is there a certain strategy you use for what angle you put the nib tip at?
I'm so glad they made the falcon in EF because this is exactly how my pen writes now.
Beautiful skill❤️Just saved this video is a keeper! Thank you.
Amazing cursive you have !!!!
❤️Thank you for a well described video.
superb achievement
Curious why no Hunt 99 or 101?
I have the docter's handwrite without any learning😅
Thank you God bless you and your family
Hi! I bought the let it snow pattern. When you get all your thumb stitches on the needles do you continue knitting with only two needles or do you separate them and put on three or four needles? Thanks.
this was a great video, thank you!!!! at 60 I want to get back to the pleasure of writing. This was great.
As a beginner, I can't stand how awfully great this handwriting is!!!! Would I ever be half that good?
I am sorry I cannot give you two, or ten, thumbs up! Thank you!
My dad recently lent me his Waterman fountain pen. I'm really enjoying using it so far, and it's actually improved my handwriting somewhat. I've started writing in cursive too, which I find adds another layer of enjoyment/satisfaction out of the writing experience.
Uniball Vision Elite is a good option for general office work. I have been using them for decades and they never disappoint (until the ink is gone).
I’m glad you mentioned the smell of the Sharpie. Dreadful. I have asthma and so I avoid that device. They need to address that issue…..
It's much appreciated
My Ballpoint pen is perfect actually only problem is. I've only got one and it's a really good pen, I can't buy anymore as I got it for free as a prize
Narcistic
Care to elaborate?
The rhythm with the fountain pen is more consistent.
Anyone notice that she doesn't write with, for the most part, her fingers or wrist?
I also noticed that her third finger is on top of the pen, instead of the pen resting beside it
I’ve been looking for inspiration for ways to connect letters and I’m going to try to mimic your style, I’m in the process of re learning because I stopped writing and I’m very rusty and forgot a lot.
When I was a child in the 50’s all ink bottles that my grandmother used had a reservoir just inside the bottle opening. You would tip the bottle to fill it then open the cap to fill or dip your pen. My grandmother preferred to use a dip pen that she could purchase at the Five and Dime store. The your bottle is very interesting.
I miss your videos! Whon are you gointo record more for us?
I got so much from this particular video. What I like to add though is instead of moving my arm, I move the paper.
the line is so thick compared to when u write with same nib but with a nib holder rather than a pen.
Your skill is truly astonishing. Thank you so much for this incredible demonstration.
Great video thank you 👍👍
