  My son who had Autism (he died in 2016) was suspended many times in PRIMARY school in grade 1. For goodness sake. I tried to teach the school how to deal with his meltdowns for three years but I was told I wasnt strict enough, and wasn't listened to. One of the teachers put his arms over my sons and said in his face "STOP" which was unacceptable!!! I took him out of school the moment that happened but I got blamed for stunting his education? The assistant principal at the same school came outside the school gates on another occasion (he was having a meltdown outside the school grounds) and just decided he would restrain my son???? It wasn't asked for and instead aggrevated my sons meltdown for another 2 hours!!! Resulting in a dent in my car, and the man even called child protection to see whether they would help?? With what??? This AP essentially assaulting my child? I was horrified. Funny enough, as soon as the principal went on leave and same AP became Acting Principal, his first order was to expel my son. No joke. This is alllllll at the same school.

  when it comes to GOVERNMENT personal: it has always appear as "UNTOUCHABLE" people for any civil accusations of any kind. As we can see, this is exactly how it is! If I had said some vulgar disrespectful comment to a young lady at the street, I would already be either in Jail or appearing in Court!

  M8, that "indigenous population" is pretty much 99.96% European. I'm not saying it isn't interesting heritage, nor am I saying it's nothing, but I wouldn't say there's really much of a Tasmanian indigenous population. They got bred out.

  Regarding schools. It's partly the teachers, and partly the parents, Plain and simple. Either they don't know what to do, they don't enjoy it, or they don't care, at no fault of their own. We need to start taking responsibility. The government can provide incentive, but the professionals need to excel and the parents need to foster positive attitude and show the kids this worlds knowledge is worthwhile.

  Geoffrey Brooks, my grandfather. Who is a paedophile. He has sexual abused myself and many others. I will have him convicted. He deserves to go to jail and rot. All of us victims are traumatised by what he did to us. First time seeing his face in nearly 14yrs. And my anxiety and the hate for him triggered.
