How did they carry all the oxygen for the astronauts? I was on oxygen for 4 years. At home, I had a machine that made oxygen. Did they have anything like that in the 60's? Oxygen tanks don't hold much. Such brave men.

Interesting, but why? What do the pusher-props do for the aircraft? How do they improve over a normal rotor? Video critique: Cut all background sounds from the clips and just play one piece of music at a low level. The chopped up sounds on this video were terrible.

I'm still pretty much in awe this can even happen at all. One of my favorite things about the shuttle landing at Edwards AFB was hearing the two sonic booms over Los Angeles, especially if I didn't know it was returning that day, Very reassuring.

So where is the moon buggy ??? How’d it get there
@MechDesignTV3 күн бұрын
The moon buggy (Lunar Rover Vehicle) was used in Apollo 15,16 and 17 missions, not the first four. It was foldable and stored outside of the Lunar Module. People are puzzled mostly for two reasons, they don't realize that it was foldable and quite compact when stored, and on the contrary, the LM was very big, if you have a chance to see one up close (there's one for example in the Science museum at London)

It should be a bit safer because there are two propellers that counter act the torque of the main rotor, so if one of them is damaged, the other is enough for it to fly safely
