  Hi David. I have one of these chairs and I ordered a new cushion and forgot to take a picture of the old cushion and how it was attached. The back is easy but the base is giving me a hard time. I have the original cushion wires.

  Is there any way to check manufacture dates? Mine says Herman Miller produce by Vitra. Made in Norway stamped on the base with Vitra 8441. I’m assuming 41st week of ‘84.

  I have 8 of those chairs. They need repair and sprouting up. They have the original seal on the bottom. Some if not all of the rubber shocks need to be replaced.

  Chair looks really comfortable however I couldn’t do arm rests that aren’t padded. I’m too skinny. Bones hurt and nerves get pinched and it’s just not a fun time.

  My father is an upholsterer...an artist...he brought naugas home for my brother and I that he manufactured himself...he chose the colors and teeth, specifically thinking of us as individuals... I never knew it was a thing...hella cool!!

  Barcelona isnt a good brand. There stuff is meant to look at not use. Most of these expensive designers sell useless furniture that has no actual use except collecting dust
