  What I find kinda funny about ulduar 10 solo, the hardest bosses are literally the eariler bosses. Razor, xt and Ignis (the least of them) all offer bigger challenges than the bosses that follows. Freya is very easy, kolo is very easy, council is easy but also not hard, and also mimiron super easy. Hodir enrage tumer is also hard, and a bit rng on npc help.

  @@christerknutsen8031 yah he's tough. Are you managing to kill a good amount of the repair bots? My biggest issue with the enrage timer was allowing him to heal too much from them

  @@christerknutsen8031 yah that's the funny thing about solos, a lot of times the most trivial things in a real group become the hardest things solo. When I soloed all of the heroics in p1 of Wrath, Eck was surprisingly one of the hardest bosses due to an enrage you would never know existed in a regular group

  @@SubtleFW Yeah i defenitly could do better in that area for sure, and i feel like i let the "big" robot adds that stick on you hit me from the back alot while i move around to manage the repair and bomb bots and I see huge chunks of my hp dissapear during this, but I console myself with 359 ilvl, and that 370 ilvl would solve this :d

  @@SubtleFW yep im familiar with this enrage, its insane like 500% dmg and its only within 1 minute or so, which is unrealistic as any solo char.

  Im in a 10m guild and we dont always have a ret pally or mm hunter for the 10% AP buff is it too much of a grief to not run aboms might and if so what points would i take out for it ? Im guessing Blood-caked

  Spec Mastery were not created equally. Blood shield is WILDLY overpowered. Shield tanks really get boned on the effect. Also, Blood DKs just wearing DPS gear is also absurd.

  1:31:09 I wonder how many prot warriors are played by similar people - people that play multiple tanks. Of the people that only play 1 tank/character, how many are solely playing a prot warrior instead of another tank, especially in heroics. A not insignificant chunk of that 3400 could be people like Subtle that play multiple tanks. I wonder how many "unique" players are playing each class.

  How to fix prot warriors: Add 5/10% additive block value for 6 seconds following a shield slam hit to the heavy repercussions talent. So 40% base / 80% crits. Like the old glyph. Restore the balls on shield block: 25% additive block chance PLUS 25% additive critical block chance, keep the same over the CTC cap spillover into bonus crit block chance. Uncouple the last stand / rallying cry cooldown. Lower last stand cooldown to 2 minutes. Make it so the warrior cannot cast their rally during last stand and vice versa. Make shockwave reduce damage dealt by stun immune targets by 10% for 4 seconds. Adds another skill shot to shockwave for active mitigation so skilled tanks can time breath attacks, etc. Make spell reflect reduce magic damage taken by 10% for it's duration. Extend the spell block talent duration from 6 seconds to 10 seconds. Buff Vigilance to 40%, make vigilance work both ways so prot warriors buffs the other tank vengeance too as well as vice versa. Cata is the best incarnation of prot warrior to date in terms of gameplay, but the worst in terms of balance.

  BTW, be sure to cap your fps in the in-game settings. No reason to let your graphics card be working hard enough to be generating 700 fps when your monitor isn't ever going to be showing you close to that. All that extra is (almost) entirely wasted. And on that note, did you get a new monitor to go with everything else? Biggest thing I see with people getting new builds is completely ignoring their monitors. They get one of the top current GPUs but are still playing on an old 1080p 60fps monitor. All they see is their fps counter in-game and get their minds blown, not realizing they aren't actually seeing anything above 60fps. Also not setting your windows resolution refresh rate to something above 60fps. Make sure you do that. Leave it at 60fps and wiggle your mouse cursor around on your screen and see it sort of leaving copies of itself behind that take a bit to disappear. Then up your refresh rate to whatever your monitor is (hopefully 100+ fps), apply it, and do it again. It will be noticeably smoother. And make sure your video cables are plugged into the actual GPU, not your motherboard's ports.

  Been tanking with Prot Paladin and done all 13/13 hc week2 We have a BDK MT and the paladin takes less dmg then DK when you consider ONLY the boss melee dmg. Yes BDK are the best overall and we all agree on that, but don't shit on prot pally and bears cause they are 100% able to clear HCs from the first weeks. Still DK are on top but other tanks can still perform very well as OT

  @@SubtleFW thats true for the MT role BDK is superior, personally i like OT role in cata cause you still have a lot of stuffs to do and many bosses have adds to manage. I'd say in some bosses the OT role has even more responsability then MT

  Change of topic but I'd like to hear your opinion. You talked about Prot Warrior and the fact they need a buff which i agree 100% do you think Prot Paladins need some small buffs too? Imo they don't need more defensive buffs just some tweaks regarding healing/holy power. Its so weird that WoG has 20s CD and you need 3 HP to make it an effective heal and BDK can just DS for double if not triple the amount.. If judgement gave 1 HP and WoG had like 6s CD when used on yourself i think prot pally would be in a great spot. Hit cap isn't easy to get for prot paladins and miss/parry on CS really hurt the HP generation. More holy power also means more dmg if you're not healing yourself.

  The tank gap is just far too glaring to be ignored. When Blood DK can completely trivialize some aspect of a fight or diminish the difficulty of a fight greatly, what real reason is there NOT to play/reroll one? It just doesnt feel good playing any of the other tank specs knowing youre essentially handicapping your group because of your class choice from previous expansions or maybe you just dont like how DK plays. I really hope we get some sort of tank spec changes soon to make the difference between blood and everything else far less obvious

  That called wow, everyone is a meta slave its been this way forever. Every other xpac or patch has a new king of "insert role/class" stop complaining, nothing is going to change, all that of you that think this way srsly just get with the times. This is a revisited version of the game, vanilla was a raid of 30 warriors, TBC was warriors and rogues, wrath was Hpally Ppally Rpally its same shit as the first time around, just enjoy it for what it is, or just don't play.

  Got a question about your prot pala weakaura pack. In the rotation module there's no Shield of the righteous, feels like an oversight or why would you not use it in single target boss fights? I also can't get the holy power bars to show, but I'm also not that good at fixing weakauras

  @@ensampojken I don't have Shield of the righteous on there since 3 Holy Power is the tell for when to use it, so I just press it whenever I have 3 HP on single target and don't need WOG. To make the Holy Power show just type /wa and click on the Holy power WA. Then go to the Load tab and uncheck "Never"

  Yo I was trying brutalus as well but full tanking gear gets you nowhere. I was avg. around 16-17k dps which is too slow to kill him before getting too many stacks. I figured out that probably full haste partial dps gear will make this way easier. can you share your gear comp you killed brutalus?

  @@SubtleFW wow you’re stacked. Very nice tho. Thanks for showing. I forgot to mention: you can also have target dummy and engi target dummy on a belt soaking 2 slashes in a row. That way you can reset your stacks. I reached 25% hp on brutalus with almost full tanking gear Ilvl 363

  It's mainly just for gems where you get 50% more stam per gem than secondaries

  Does PW:S work to stop a double attack death on a tank? I heard that a Blood DK shield can just take every double attack, so I'd assume a PW:S could do the same for any tank - even your Ret Pala

  I'm trying to solo Malygos but I can't seem to outheal his p3 with the 1-1-2-3 rotation I've read about. Have you done him recently and what might I be doing wrong? Just seems like the 5 stack is nowhere near enough to beat that many focus beams.
