I was alone, I took a ride I didn't know what I would find there Another road where maybe I could see another kind of mind there Ooh, then I suddenly see you Ooh, did I tell you I need you Every single day of my life You didn't run, you didn't lie You knew I wanted just to hold you And had you gone you knew in time we'd meet again For I had told you Ooh, you were meant to be near me Ooh, and I want you to hear me Say we'll be together every day Got to get you into my life What can I do, what can I be When I'm with you I want to stay there If I'm true I'll never leave And if I do I know the way there Ooh, then I suddenly see you Ooh, did I tell you I need you Every single day of my life Got to get you into my life Got to get you into my life I was alone, I took a ride I didn't know what I would find there Another road where maybe I could see another kind of mind there Then suddenly I see you Did I tell you I need you Every single day?

I saw Frank Sinatra later in his life, and what I noticed was it was much easier to belt out vocals than singing more softly. He sounds fantastic for a. 81-82 year. Besides, seeing the Eagles back him. Paul and Jimmy are much alike - Paul still has a "Schoolboy Heart" and that twinkle in his eyes.

Amazing...still gives me a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye. The man’s a genius and wonderful human being. About his voice, I’m only 70 (and not a singer) but my voice has changed so much in the last few years I don’t sound like myself anymore. It happens...and Sir Paul has the dignity to let you hear him as he is without digital manipulation. Very classy!

Anyone who gets upset about Pauls voice ( which I think got better as the song went on) go and listen to Axle Rose and THEN tell us how bad Pauls voice is. I really think he was getting emotional when he started the song.

FFSake, Paul will be 82 on 18/06/2024. I'm glad that he is still alive. I'm only 63 and I've noticed recently that I can't hold a note for as long as I used to be able. I can still sing quite well, though there are some notes I can't reach anymore. I'm more of a Baritone Crooner now. A man's got to know his limitations. McCartney is a God and a Hero.

i see a lot of posts about the vocal, yes, it was painful to hear, but my guess is, its not age, but a cold or sore throat. i have not been sick in years but something got a hold of me and has me coughing so much, that i would sound like that. lets see how he does in a couple weeks. im hoping its temporary as he just loves to sing for you and me. ❤
