  Actually Pastor Rob does have a point. By the time they reach Sheldon and Missy’s age most kids have an idea of what sex is and then by the time they’re taught sex ed a lot of them are already doing it. And another important thing to teach them about is protection. Studies have shown that abstinence based sex ed courses actually INCREASE the risk of teen pregnancies.

  As a teenager myself, I think teenagers should be given all the information related to sex, including protection and also the benefits of abstinence. We're not stupid. We can make decisions for ourselves. And studies are showing that more and more teenagers are choosing to wait before having sex.

  @@qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm3093 I’m not a teenager but I think schools should hand out condoms to boys and girls and have a licensed professional on hand to help young girls choose the birth control they feel is best for them. Doesn’t matter if it’s the pill, plan B or helping set up an appointment for an IUD. Abstinence is definitely the one birth control method that has 0% risks of unwanted pregnancies and STD transmission but not all teens are going to practice abstinence and what if they’re molested? They’ll still be protected from both STDS and pregnancies with these resources. My motto when it comes to sex is that there’s nothing sexier than being protected from BOTH STDS and unwanted pregnancies. 😊

  I hate when the wife and mother in law gang up on the husband/son in law. It’s not a marriage of 3 people, only 2. I get Connie is Mary’s mom. But regardless of what was going on, it’s completely none of her business. It’s facts and reality.
