The statement that quote: ‘capitalism spawns more losers than winners’ is dropped in the mix like it’s a self evident truth. But it isn’t true, and you are an example of why it isn’t.

I urge you to turn to the LORD, He helps us through all things and all seasons of life, the bible calls Him our comforter and prince of peace, this only applies of you are born again, to be born again you just have to realize your a sinner, cry out to God and repent turn from your sins and trust that Jesus died for your sins. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

look forward to looking at ur work on amazon. but moreover, can you help with writing something in the lines of “loosing grit”? i’ve graduated high school at 15. and I never believed I was smart, but I always had grit helping me throughout school to do things others thought were impossible. Fast foreward in college, I earned a 3.9 gpa by my 1st year. But suddenly something inside me shattered. I could no longer see myself thriving. I felt as though there’s something wrong with me. Going to my senior year right now, and my cumulative gpa is a 1.2. things went down very quickly and im afraid i have lost my grit. or worse, my sense of self. can You may have more knowledge in regards to life event like these, with your experience, hope you can advise and share a bit of knowledge towards how to take this. Appreciate ur work, Thank you for your help. Best,

The algorithm incentivises user engagement (rage, comment war fights, grifting, etc.). Other platforms are even more worse. Depending what your goal with the channel you might have (outreach, target demographic, reputation management, algorithm, etc.) it might help you if you get help from some young ones. You do have your zipcode to your advantage, though. I'm too far away to be able to help.

Very nicely done. If you will, however, kindly allow me to submit one recommendation. The camera really needs to be closer to the subject (you) rather than positioned at too great a distance. As you are doubtless aware, the viewer truly needs to appreciate the essence of the storyteller. The camera’s Ultra Zoom function should allow you do accomplish this. Apart from this aesthetic note, I think your video was marvelous.

I thought that you had a good conversation with Derek for his abilities. I was a little surprised when you said that you didn't want to continue with the program. I think that I would have given it another try to see how the experience would go. A long time close friend and his wife have a Down's Syndrome son about 30 years old. He is involved in family activities all the time. He cannot speak, but he understands some stuff. If you say "Hi" to him and ask him how he is doing, he will acknowledge you and put his hand out to shake when put your hand out.

I was blessed to attend a high school with a heated indoor Olympic sized pool. Was on both swim team and dive team. Latter part of my Jr year I was informed that I had reached ans attained all core ed requirements to graduate.. The prospect of all day study hall or proctoring wasn't appealing at all. Our Swim Coach called me to his office and informed me the school district had a speacil rule for our High school, since we had the pool.. To graduate, you had to also, be able to Swim!! Spent almost entire Sr. Year teaching Special Ed students, how to swim..really disliked it at first, but what a blast and further blessing it became, taught @ 100 other kids to swim...😂

This is the world we live in. 50% of the population is below average IQ. I try to converse with people on their individual level. I try to get people to a better place emotionally than how I found them. Think of them as a new friend. Can be draining & rewarding. Just do what I can while I'm here. You have to protect yourself, some situations can be very disturbing.. being empathetic can be hard to handle

I can relate to your story. I work with adults with autism, although, I am no genius. I've been doing it for many years, and I still find satisfaction in it. Unfortunately, the system is flawed. It's definitely better than it was. Back before Geraldo Rivera, they were ALL in institutions. But there still needs to be much improvement in the system presently.

I'm not a genius, but I'm pretty smart. Ivy league undergrad with two easy Masters degrees. Probably a 135 IQ. Anyway, I volunteered for about ten years as a Special Olympics speed skating coach. Took about a dozen downs syndrome folks to the State Special Olympics Winter games each year. Coached about a dozen practices each year. Those downs syndrome folks are the sweetest, most loving humans you will ever likely encounter. A lot of them lead really happy lives. And a lot of them are institutionalized. They outlive their parents, or their parents just get too old to care for them. They have shorter life-spans, on average. Some of them have good friends at their institutions. But they all miss their families. Tough spot. Special Olympics really helps them, I think. If you are good at a sport like basketball or bowling, you should consider getting involved.

Seems to me Marty that you could have thought things through a little more before you committed yourself. Did you ever consider the fact that the child was thinking he was being judged as to whether to be good enough to have a friend? But then you bail which of course makes him think his behavior was the reason! How sad is that? It's almost like adopting a child and then returning it. You know what the worst part is about this whole thing? You chose to made a video about it including a word that is now known as very derogatory and is horribly demeaning. I think I'll take a pass on purchasing any of your books.
