This is awesome, really informative. The end result looks quite lovely too! I'm just curious: have you ever used blood plums to make prunes? I'd love to know how they taste and whether they would work as prunes or not (and if not, why not?)

Recipe I made up but seems like the video. - Mix butter and qataifi dough (which is normally used in an Arab dessert called kunafeh) or shredded phyllo dough, if u don’t have the dough, u can use vermicelli noodles and fry it so it’s brown and crispy, - mix the fried qataifi dough or shredded phyllo dough or vermicelli with pistachio sauce or pistachio dip or paste, anything that’s green like that and tastes like pistachio - use a chocolate bar mould or a plastic chocolate bar shaped container and pour melted chocolate in the chocolate bar mould - u can set it in the fridge or freezer so the chocolate holds its shape well and isn’t messy but it’s ur choice if u have patience or not. - If u don’t have patience just put the pistachio dough mixture straight on the melted chocolate, it’s gonna be messy though. - cover the pistachio dough mixture with another layer of melted chocolate - let it set in the fridge, or in the freezer if u don’t have time. - it should crack like that and have similar taste and texture

What’s the sweetness level on that brand of pistachio cream ? Is it super sweet like condensed milk, or more like peanut butter or almond butter sweetness or is it something in the middle ?
@TheUntamedOliveAndreaSteffes2 ай бұрын
Id say not as sweet as I expected. Which worked well with the chocolate. Made it so it wasn’t bonkers sweet. Maybe just a bit sweeter than a natural peanut butter.
Agreed! Looks delicious!! We get a steady supply of lions mane via farmers market! Thanks for sharing!

you have to soak after wash and no need to dry ... it will get more starch out (and of course any soluble nutrients too) ... i guess people who add nutritional yeast are replacing some of lost nutrients back ... also as per some recent finding (by g shoba et al published in Planta Medica 64 (1998) pp 353 - 356) black pepper mixed with fat and turmeric makes potent anti-inflammatory decoction ... i am not sure mixed with moong flour these will work that magic so preferably heat fat you are adding with turmeric and black pepper with some water to help with making of decoction and add that decoction to flour ... the article in planta medica does not mention fat but fat is needed to extract useful substances from turmeric and black pepper which are: curcurmin and piperine ... you can prepare large amount of fat of your choice mixed with turmeric and black pepper by heating those 3 ingredients with some water until water is boiled off completely and then store this fat in fridge in a jar ... whenever you want to make something calling for turmeric black pepper and some fat you just spoon this fat from jar

@@TheUntamedOliveAndreaSteffes on the face my recipe sounds like ayurvedic but only herbs (turmeric and black pepper) are indian but i could find no mention of combo of these 3 ingredients (herbs plus ghee) in any ayurvedic recipe for inflammation (swelling) but what g shoba's team has found is absolutely mind boggling because combo increases curcumin absorption by 2000% compared to taking plain turmeric ... so please do try my decoction recipe and thank me after 50 years when you will be free from many health problems that afflict western people
