  What thickness of wood, timber decking say, do you think the bolt would penetrate with that crossbow

  Thanks for watching and comment. I have not done any testing like that against wood. But l imagine it would depend on the hardness of the wood and also the type of bolt head used. I’ve seen a video of a normal crossbow bolt able to penetrate a metal frying pan. Shooting at such a hard surface is likely to cause damage to the crossbow bolt itself. My guess to try and answer your question would be several inches.

  Almost bought opsin....or analog but i like the digital updates. Still cant see my red dot on nv setting but mostly everything else is good so far. If it werent for this update i would have bought an opsin today😊

  We are not allowed firearms that fully function like this here in the UK. This one has been deactivated and can not fire bullets. But it is perfectly legal to own in this state.

We do now have another update as you mention below, firmware 1.28, which reduces lag and lowers screen brightness, so that there is less eye strain at night, and can help prolong the battery life on a single charge when set at lower levels.   *UPDATE* There is now firmware version 1.28 available. This version allows users to optimize the Prowl for reduced lag or low light performance (without IR).

  @@ResonatorProductions My dad had done some research around a few gun shops in Gloucester and Cheltenham on his travels as a salesman in the area. Until then we had never heard of Weihrach so it was a toss up between a BSA Airsporter or Webley MK 3 as that was all there seemed to be available. The chap in Allsports said the HW was new into the country and demonstrated all 3 rifles on a softwood batten. The HW made more of a mess of it then the others so was deemed more powerful, and as a teenager it was all about how much power the gun had. Then we all had .22s.as177s were regarded as too small. Happy days when the sight of an air rifle in the country was normal.

  With this 1.27 firmware I didn’t notice much lag at all to be honest. Increasing the IR level on the device improves any lagging issues.

  @@1hingeI’m not sure of the brand but it is a genuine Fast helmet level 3a protection which was acquired from eBay. The helmet cover is a One Tigris multicam one which I got from Amazon.

  Yes it is possible it is not focussed correctly and that is down to me using it one handed and walking my dog at the same time. But that is easily corrected with the focus ring on the front. I notice some flashing/ glitch myself, not completely sure if this is normal or a problem with my device.

  Yes. I was using an older firmware 1.24. Someone mentioned on my older deleted video there is a newer version. This video is me using 1.27 firmware which appears to be the latest.

  I removed the trigger spring from my 2240, crushed it eith a pair of channel lock pliers, and re-inserted it. Result... 1.5 pound pull, crisp and no creep. Match grade, and zero cost !
