Unfortunately I saw your fantastic video too late and I apparently broke the clip. The sensor lasted me approximately 2 weeks and failed. I replaced it a second time and again it lasted approximately 2 weeks and failed again. The cap doesn’t appear to be coming loose or off in any way so I’m wondering if it could be something else that keeps causing it to fail.

Very helpful. I'm about to change mine on my 2012 Yukon. It's essentially the same type of clip/release on many other connectors/harnesses. Having the visual will help with feeling it blindly. Thanks!

Philip gets LEGENDARY status....I liked, and appreciate all the videos on this from other posts...but........The hardest part of the job, is the 2 step clip removal....not the sockets, or hoses.........Thank You, I spent an hour or so working through this. I didnt want to break a clip. I had the Grey "Safety Clip" pulled and did not know if I should squeeze the blue clip? Im ready to do the deal, after this post. Thank you Sir...

I love my Silverado, but I was about to light a fire up in it, not only is the sensor in a hard to reach spot, they had to put the release clip on the side you can't reach, Thank you for the video!

Fantastic video. Unfortunately my big hands didn’t have enough room to grab it to squeeze for the release. If anyone else is in the same situation what ultimately worked was extra long 45 degree needle nose pliers (I used knipex, but any brand should do). The length and bend was enough to reach through that opening where you can see it, first attempt ripped out the grey clip, but second attempt worked by be able to squeeze and pull.
