I wonder how people there would feel about someone moving in there that built a home that looked modern.

I lived in Island Park some few years, long ago, and even decades later it is always my only true and forever home. Nothing compares, ( and I have lived many places, even Germany, to the simple peace and beauty. I will never be home anywhere else.❤

I wish citizens could designate where their tax dollars go. Stopping and cleaning and keeping water clean I would want at least 50 percent of my taxes to go there. Right this minute it is costing huge amounts of money to keep America's drinking water at least half safe. Some companies are making millions that consumers are putting out. There has to be logic applied to stop, repair and SAVE for all time this resource that gives life. GOD BLESS ALL RESEARCHERS AND CITIZENS working on this emergency. Thanks Outdoor Idaho for filming and sharing this!

This is the worst episode of outdoor Idaho, a show I love and has helped me fall in love with Idaho. The focus should have been on the homesteaders, pioneers, and miners of the FC wilderness. The controversy between saving the land and their claims. Not this ski bum and the silly copyright free braaaaaaahm dramatic music clips. I hope this isn't a portend of shows to come.

As long as the water-rights owners of Palisades Reservoir continue massive releases from Palisades Dam down to the Upper Valley, the South Fork of Snake River below Palisades will continue to be a challenged river system; from flows up to 27K cfs (cubic feet per second) down to ~500 cfs annually, the aquatic life and the wildlife dependent upon that stretch of river will be challenged!! There seems to be no middle ground!

I remember around that time I went with my dad brother and my dads friend on a guided hunt for elk and deer! It was a successful trip but I didn’t have a elk tag and about 25 yards away from me was a 7x7 elk just standing there in the hills just across a gully! Sitting on our horses just watching him for about 15 minutes! It must have known I didn’t have a tag! Didn’t come home with him! It was disappointing! When I was about 17!

I'd give the best (5.00a month)I could towards making this episode shown in every middle school at least 2 times a year. Also offer it for free to resort areas that show films to outside audiences in the summer. Get this out there to audiences that are voting now AND out to future voters.

Great video. I love the wilderness areas we have in Idaho. We hunt along the edge of one of them. We have been back there for a week at a time and only seen one other human. These wilderness areas were definitely formed at a cost and for some that cost was steep, but for the majority it is special to have the ability to go get lost in a wilderness and find yourself
