I have 2004 super duty axles. Got them for an incredible good price. If you’re starting from scratch I’d go with 2005 or up superduty axles. More turning ability.

I bought the chassis. I was just going to buy the kit but they had one already welded that they wanted to get rid of for the same price. I’ve built a goat built chassis before takes room and a jig. I don’t have room to set that up. Seemed like a better choice for me.

Im going to build something very close to this with a 1938 ford truck cab n doors, probably straight axles with full roll cage, big block Chevy, 5 speed transmission Dana 60s big tires, and lots of paint, no rat rods

Did you raise the rear of buggy when you filled it to get air out? Otherwise you will have air bubbles for days.... never get it all out. My buddy with his rock lizard had to burp his backing up a rock at katemcy lol

That was one of the reasons I lowered the radiator. I also added an air release at the highest point. If it overheats again I’ll definitely have to lift the rear. Thanks for the input!

After flipping the Jeep over I drove it for a while before realizing it had a hole in the radiator. Then it was time to go back to camp and drink some beer!
