  The movie was so awesome they used just about all the scenes in the movie Mosquito Squadron in 1969 with David McCallum.

  Of all the 1,000's of movies made in my lifetime 633 Squadron is number one, The characters and Mosquitoes were matched perfectly. The only question I have since I first saw it, is did Cliff Robertson live at the end? The book is not clear either. Looking back at the practicing for the mission scenes , they must have filmed those in what is now called the Mach Loop.

  0:02 I'm kinda starting to quote this whenever I'm dealing with the infamous M. Night Shyamalan versions of the characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender, one of the worst things ever, and to ruin its legendary source material, for instance; "You are all so blind! You so do not understand! You weren't always like that in the beginning. You've already ignored how good it was, how important. This is it for you. This nonsensical spoken-word, ballet-dancing excuse of an opera. Every wrong thing you're saying and/or doing makes me sick. What IS wrong with you? Now, I don't care about your overdramatically attitudes, even if it feels like you're abusing at random, or your Fire Nation squabbles or whatever randomly nonsensical and/or misleading thing of naivety, or incorrect tone if voice is coming out of your mouths, okay? So, since we know how the story is supposed to go, start acting like your old cartoon selves, bend the elements, and other things related to them, like you're supposed to, quit giving us away with these lousy expositions AND SHUT UP!!!"

  Nothing as good as the sight and sound of a mossie at full tilt...I've only seen them in museums and film...I only make models of them...maybe one day

  What a great plane! Mosquito was so good that German aircraft industry tried to copy it with their Focke-Wulf TA 154 "Moskito", which too was an twin-engine fast wooden fighter. After the WW2 the Swedish coach-builder Skeningeverken Ab began to build omnibuses with same way as Mosquitos were built, also with special glue built wooden coach. So, Finnish omnibus-builder Autokorirakenne Oy from Helsinki (owned by Kutter brothers) bought license from Sweden after some negoti😊ations. The first Autokorirakenne-built coach was ready in spring 1951, and especially with Mosquitos way built! These Kutter-coaches became soon very popular amongst bus firms and travelling crowd too. Kutter-buses were very handsome, well built, warm, silent, lightweigh, well planned and equipped with stylish interior and bequem seats! During years different Kutter-buses became soon well known in Finnish bus routes, to the beginning of year 1978, when the last wooden Kutter model 8 were made. Then Kutter transferred to the steel construction, with new model Kutter 9. All was started with deHavilland Mosquito, which was fast and as a bomber its bomb load capacity was greater than in Boeing B-17 Fortress. Why I wrote this? I especially love the Kutter model 7, which was in building program during yrs 1967 -1970. Very handsome omnibus!!!! Several Kutters are preserved to-day.

  what a load of garbage this movie was. Calling the pilots to peel like that is just pathetic, they had to be highly trained and being told when to peel off might seem good footage, but the creators of this film just did not know what they were doing - the scene where two RAF officers are following the mossies' with binocs is highly laughable, have they ever used binocs before? it's difficult enough picking something up when it's stationary - trying to follow a plane flying at 250 to 300 mph is von nigh impossible, but the gullible general public wouldn't know anything about that would they. And another thing, the clips inside the cockpit showing the Navigator sitting there as if he was on his grannie's yacht is really pathetic - a navigator has much to do when on ops, he has to make sure the pilot knows where he's going, and he must give the course settings that have been carefully worked out in the ops room before any sortie. He would be pouring over his maps and notebooks to make sure they avoided any' hot spots', places where there is a concentration of anti-aircraft fire that could spell disaster for the crew. And they had to get the plane to the target on time. I'm sorry, having a nice tune playing does not make up for a lack of basic understanding of the working of a fighting squadron of the RAF and we owe to those highly skilled and brave pilots to represent their skills and courage as they took the war to the German's and smashed their bloody regime to smithereens.
