We are a house of prayer in the heart of the city, sharing the beauty of the Catholic faith in one of the busiest parts of London. We care passionately about serving the homeless people of Soho and run many service projects to support them. Wherever you are in your life, you are welcome here at St Patrick’s.

The paradox of choice is the one that kills me the most these days. You make good points. Porn certainly makes it worse. But even if porn isn't a part of your routine, social media makes it impossible to be content, or living in a big city, I suppose living in a small city could do it too. Haha. Finding a true grounding in God is probably the first step... and this is just a theory, but I think once that grounding is truly established a second grounding can really take place, since we are already grounded in God, not in social media, not in cultural noise, or chronic anxiety, but in God, we can then see another person with clarity, tuning out distraction and commit to them as well, similarly to how we first committed to God. It builds beautifully.

This is truly like ME...Working as a Nurse in nearly all departments in the hospital for around 8-10 yrs currently in UK as a mental health nurse....i started sharing my feeling to a therapist in 2020 since I was feeling drained- this made me realise I was hurting innocently but so blessed to be stressed helping people everyday...am now acknowledging my true self and not hiding my feeling anymore filling my cup....I am closer to God by allowing my spirituality in a human form....am really happier with this awakening!!....I have infinite joy to life am nolonger trouble....I just thank God for being Alive 🙏
