LET'S GO!!!!!!! Welcome to my Hemi Ram channel. This channel is about things you can do to keep your Rams on the road. I have a 3rd gen 2003 Hemi Ram 1500. Plus, a 4th gen 2009 Hemi Ram 1500. Both trucks have the 5.7L Hemi. I like to go through the things I have learned through the years working on cars and trucks. My biggest thing is to get as many miles as I can out of the trucks before any major work has to be done to them. With simple Maintenace and quick things to do to keep your Ram moving. I got a sound on my dads race car and he has dementia now so he cant really help anymore but its only on low rpms. Give it some gas and get the rpms up and it goes awat and its at the top side of the engine. Its a 406 sbc with a 6-71 blower. I wish i knew more about cars man i wanna get it running for him
I changed mine, engine light went off for a few minutes and came right back on. Same code 😅😢

You are so correct on buying bad parts, the problem is worse than ever, leading to diag - replace - issue not resolved - going on wild goose chase looking at other stuff that is not causing the issue. Sucks
It definitely makes it a bad day
Firing off the parts cannon is not usually a good method, but I wouldn't say you fell victim to the gas cap. It is a cheap part, and I think it is worth it to try before digging deeper (time is money too). Also, on an older truck, the gas cap is probably towards the end of its life in regard to sealing. You did right trying the gas cap first, in my opinion. Another great video, ty

Hey boss man im having the exact same problems as you on my 03 ram 1500 5.7 hemi and im trying to get a pcm ,but my question is is there any thing that i have to look out for like S/N or P/N numbers like on the tag or all of should be good?
Just get one for and 02 -05 hemi Ram. Then get your vin# changed to the one on your truck should be good to go
My 05 doge Dakota 4.7 temp was going fine and using my AC,but when I came to a 2 mile slight hill the temp began climbing to 80% . Once I reached the top of the hill temp dropped back to normal ...any ideas guys ?

Yeah MY DODGE RAM 1500 SLT 2006 WIRING IS AND HAS BEEN CRAP ALL OF THESE HAVE LIT UP ON MY DASH REGULAR BRAKE LIGHTS ABS LIGHT CHECK GAUGES LIGHT AND WHEN CHECK GAUGES ALERT BEEPS MY OIL METER HAND GOES NUTS IT MOVES BACK N FORTH NUTS WHILE I AM AT A RED LIGHT OR STOP SIGN BUT IF I PUT MY TRUCK IN PARK IT GOES OFF OR WHILE MOVING DRIVING IN DRIVE IT STOPS IMMEDIATELY SO ONLY WHEN I HAVE IT IN DRIVE AND IM BRAKING STOPPED FOR TEN SECONDS THAT CHECK GAUGES ALARM BEEPS LOUD AND THE DIAL ON MY OIL GAUGE LOOKS POSSESSED.

My Ford Explorer 2018 XLT V6 3.5L naturally aspirated with 32 768 km. on it has had this lifter tick after the oil has been changed and I have put the CERATEC from Liqui Moly and it has been disappeared.

had this issue with my 2012 Tahoe u can only use specific oil filter or it will throw off the oil pressure related codes
today a 04 dodge with hemi came.. lost power on freeway.. and throttle body code.. we replace with a new one and same problem... no fix.. we check the 5v on conector pf the throttle body and it was 4.8 volt.. so we decide to. chance the ecm from another truck that we have in the shop and.. problem fix.. we got 5 volts on conector and now work perfect..now we are waiting on a replecment ecm to finish the job

Anyone ever took the bed off instead of pulling tank? Im thinking about doing that mainly because my bed is rusted out underneath n i can shake the truck bed pretty easy, but also worried about opening up another problem or multiple ones.
