Michael Talks About Stuff
I make content talking about interesting things. Currently going hard on an A Song of Ice and Fire / Game of Thrones analysis and fan theory series trying to make some sense of the end of the television show and the ASOIAF books. Also doing some guess and check with a few new theories I have to see if we can find evidence for them in visions and foreshadowing. People seem to enjoy it. Hopefully you do too.

Giant magic trees fed with human sacrifices is something we could see in Elden Ring
I've been thinking. The old gods could describe the Northern gods, the drowned god, rhollor, similar to pagan religeons, whereas the Faith of the Seven is centralised similar to christianity. (edit) it also makes me think of the 4 elements (fire, ice and water.....not sure how earth/wind fit in) and the way you talk about balance reminds me of the four humors.
Probably gives you red poops
There used to be more glass candles and now they are rare... Where did they go? INSIDE THE WALL 😮😮😮
What if the nights queen was trapped until Shiara came traipsing along and got herself possessed by the nights queen?
It is probably the case that Jon was older than Robb. I still think it's possible Jon could be Ned's son, there is an account of Borrell who he suspects to be Jon's mother when talking to davos. The annotation says Borrell is displaying ignorance and Jon was born around the sack of King's Landing. Catelyn believes Jon was conceived after the marriage. Catelyn's assumptions are pretty spotty. But Borrell would be far earlier. I don't think Borrell's story is correct either but it is there for a reason plus the annotation. To doubt the timeline of events and Jon's age. I think the truth is in the middle. Not the woman Borrell suspects and a bit later, but 9 months before the sack could still be before the wedding. In Jon's early chapter at the wall, he mentions around Benjen's supposed return he turned 15 while earlier both him and Robb were both 14 while sparring. Before that Robb's name day wasn't mentioned. we hear Robb grow and get stronger but not his age. Jon being older is still something Ned would want to keep hidden even if he is his son.
In the tableau where figure is sacrificed to create dragon, man stands behind wirh sword or knife: note the black probably glass candles, reference to black candles in books
Reminds me of "Elden Ring", with all the tree burning and the like. Wonder if you've covered/considered that, given all the thematic parallels... and GRRM writing it.
Its literally attack on titan wall with magic trees instead of magic transforming people lol
it's an interesting theory, but I don't believe the character of Qyburn would resort to magic or sorcery. I see Qyburn as more of a scientist and the Mountain as his Frankenstein. I would speculate that he achieved the zombification through some kind of biological method that is wildly unethical.
We will never find out anyway
Multiple Long Nights, global phenomenon, _The Hero_ is an Alexander or Genghis Khan like historical figure known by different names to different cultures and associated with and assimilated into local legends.
Mostly agree but the right of the first night happened in more than just the North.
dropping the dragon is just a callback to season 1
House of the dragons it Is a disgrac🎉e to who one has read the book or listened to game of thrones were Jeffrey tells largely that rhaneys targeryon is buried after her half brother Aegons dragon bit here in half. Something to think about. But to me in the book rhaneys and damoen find targeron bastards on dragon stone to become dragon riders alot of these die in the attempt. But they do find afew to ride the wild dragons .not as in the showbut these bustards let the power overwellthem 21:02 and make moves to better themselves not like in the show were the dragons go out and choose their own riders this nonsense about the conquers dream which is not in the book why they put it in the shows so unnecessary and takes from game of thrones. I THINK ITS A TERRIBLE SHOW.
The wall DOES create the Others, and causes wars. Qarth has walls that keeps other men out. The Blackwood- Bracken wall causes hatred. The Arm of Dorne broken is a wall that caused half the humanity to be “Other”.
Maybe this could be linked to the dragons going extinct? Like some maesters made notes on how these parasites killed Balerion without anybody noticing directly? Just a thought
Varys takes them and makes them his little spys, he pays the Others to deliver them to him secretly. No evidence for this at all but I think it fits.
Ned supposedly killed Sir Author Dayne in 1 on 1 combat. Dayne was considered the greatest swordsmen of his time and probably the greatest swordsmen ever to have lived. His greatness was proven by the sword he wielded- Dawn. The sword forged out of a meteorite that would only be wielded by those worthy of its power. Jamie trained under Dayne and knew his skill with a sword. Jamie wanted to fight Ned to prove he never bested Dayne in 1v1 combat.
I wish I had a giant white shaft
This theory makes a lot of sense to me if you believe in magic and fantasy.
A lot of the cut Valyrian immortality stuff could explain how in the histories they talk about emperors and kings and queens living for thousands of years.
There was another theory regarding individual dragon size being related to death magic, specifically that of killing humans; much of asoiaf magic involves a cost and often that cost is somebody's life, and dragons are regularly called magical. The theory goes that the reason newborn dragons grew gradually smaller post maegor is due to the extended peace and resulting lack of dragons seeing combat. Extending this, if a dragon of a certain size needs a minimum baseline of murder to sustain them magically, maybe balerion was not being sustained sufficiently, hence his trip to valeria?
Alys says to Damian that he would die there at Harrenhall, then gave him paste-simolar to Jojen. Knowing he would die perhaps she wanted him to be receptive to tree magic after life.
We all live in the eye of a blue eyed giant.
Demon's plot should get somewhere in this season.
Thanks.
Have not read the books. A Wall that tall and ancient may have its discreet cut throughs. I do believe Martin made scattered references of various figures burrowing through the Wall.
It very Cersei in the books Alicent 😂 behaviour and drunken nature
I love that we got to the point where "the others are the police of the trees" makes too much sense
THANK YOU, i never swallowed the stupid idea that balerion died of old age, it also makes no sense for the worms to be inside of only Aerea.
Maybe she is hideous and only Damon sees this form of her and she easily could be a ghost that they can see but disappear 🫥
I will start reading the series when this new book will be announced.
I dont remember but, even if sheepstealer showed up after the sacking of winterfell. Would no one be talking leagues about a damn dragon? I feel like it should've come up
Wasn't the wall build after the Long Night? If the Others were a Children of the Forest's weapon used against the first men before their peace agreement - were they not able to control them? And how do the eastern myths (Bloodstone emperor) fit into this?
As in the first white walkers came from the East (and then circled around the globe) and then the Children helped making the wall.
They mention several times that there were frozen men embedded in the wall, and it was the only part of the spells involved in making the wall that they know about. It was also something the Night Watch claimed to have done, and threatened to do, to deserters.
In the lore, does Vhaegar ever participate in a two v one battle? Unless you are trying to die, it seems like two on one would be one of the only chances to defeat Vhaegar. Or go bond with the Cannibal. Lol
The dragons had black blood and i thought they did something like that but this makes more sense. Wonder if this ties into dragons.
Firewyrms sounds more possible than a dragon
Maggy especifically I don't think it's a child of the forest because the name they use seem like a bastardization of the essosi word Maegi, meaning witch. Not that it's ansolute or anything
So, basically the weirwoods act as cooling rods in nuclear power plant and when they fail there would be a meltdown and nuclear winter (others come)..
I saw episode 7... Daemon is actually the four eyed raven... He just qalks around with these stupid ass glasses saying he can see the future.
People die of "old age" at 60 or 90. There is a large variance. WHY can't that be for dragon's? Why couldn't he have died from "old age"?? It was his time. Like you mentioned, it was "old age" NOT maximum age. Besides, you are wrong!! Dragon's get larger as they age. THAAT is established. So, this whole video is really moot.
It's crazy to me that Alicent keeps talking about how she's going to control the king and then in the moment she actually has control over him she does nothing! When you put the scenes next to each other, it's pretty great irony that Alicent laughs at Aegon when he says no one listens to him, then realizes the next episode she too has no allies. Maybe if he's ever awake enough to chat they can trauma bond over that, like Rhaena and Jeyne
Poor Aegon just has everything he tries to care about denied to him. He tries to care about his sister getting the throne...denied by Alicent...tries to care about having the throne...denied by everyone...tries to care about the smallfolk...denied by Otto...tries to care about his son...denied by b&c...tries to care about the war...denied by Cole and aemond...etc
Well the dude is a rapist and shitty person, hard to feel bad for him 😂
I call what Alys hands out a weirwood smoothie...definitely not as concentrated as the paste
Harrenhal is like Woodstock it just full of trips 😂
Daemons dream ends with his hands covered in blood, then later Alys is bandaging his hand. Seems like some deliberate symbolism there.
so he aint ai
Yo alice is real...because *spoilers* but yeh he hallucinating too just not her 😅 i think everyone is scared of her...fab stream ✌
