My husband and I follow your show, we love how you give so much good information about the area you are visiting! We were so excited when we learned you would be going to Montreal! My husband is from there, originally by way of New Brunswick 😊 We go every year to visit family and friends and for the last few years we go in our RV. It is so cool to see you visit our stomping grounds. We you headed to Quebec ♥️ our favorite, we loved that too! We love the Gaspe area! We are curious to see if you stay where we do in Perce, it is fun for us to learn new places to stay as well! Thank you!! ♥️
What amazing scenery you are seeing. Enjoy it to the fullest and stay safe !
That was a nice hike! How were the bugs?
Ahhhh...the places you visit Marc...I wish I could just be your tag-along...in my own rig of course. 🤣
Love your shows! And especially your Canadian link.
Thank you Daniel!
Here's an idea, go fund me account to contact the local owner that they have a number of days to come get their trailer. If not the towing to come get the rig, notify forest service, local po po and have em come get their rig from the local impound. Simple, and I'm sure a number of $5 donations could build up the funds pretty quick. Although we would need someone to handle the rig funds appropriately.
Glad to see you are now enjoying some of the very nicest we have to offer in Quebec! Isn’t something? Mountain, see (well St-Laurence River really…) and the Rocher Percé! What a sight! So glad you came to visit! We look forward to doing the same in the US mountains that you spend your winters in! 2 skiers from Qc city!
Awesome beauty! I was jealous of your lobster!
Great episode! I love going to Gapésie! First week of July will be my turn. I just re-subscibed to your channel 😊. I watching all your Quebec episodes back to back! So, Mme Grand Adventure is from Quebec? good for you! 😉
Absolutely amazing! I feel like we are right there. I love that you are bringing the beauty right to us...and that is so much! I would have a hard time narrowing down what to show in my video. Lol What an amazing trip so far! Your French skills are way better than mine. To hear you say the word and for me to see the spelling is just fascinating to me. It is a beautiful language. See you next week!
Thank you very much! Mrs GA would disagree with you, she's always ragging on my French skills.
Another nicely done video Marc, Looks like a pretty cool place to visit. JT
Thank you JT!
🦞Yummy yummy yummy yummy 😱only &$10/lb bring me some 😋... LOL 🤣
At that price, I have a hard time having anything else for dinner.
@@GrandAdventure I don't blame you I would do the same thing 👍🦞🦞🦞
Fta
Thanks for visiting Quebec! Just a little note that you should have done it the other side around so the beauty is always on the right!!🇨🇦🥰
It's beautiful no matter which angle you're looking at it from! Thank you, Marco!
Spectacular! Through your lens and historical research you’ve brought us this exquisite splendor. Simply fantastic craftsmanship in this episode. And, as usual, you’ve nailed this cinematography with such graceful perfection. It’s amazing to me why your channel and followers have not exploded in popularity. We thank you for all your hard work. For this is not a simple production. ❤
Thank you so very, very much! If there's ever an episode that I really put effort into, it's next week's hour-long opus from Percé. We look forward to bringing that one to you.
I get tongue twisted with those names but it sure is beautiful.. thanks GA
That makes two of us, J.
The Gaspésie Peninsula is just stunningly beautiful and the campground looks like a must stop, especially with that amazing food truck! I’ve wanted to visit but my French skills are pretty non-existent. Thank you and have safe travels.
You would have no issue, Bill. My French skills are atrocious, and the proprietor of the campground is fluent in English.
Just AWESOME !!!
Thank you Tim!
nice again, Marc.
Thank you as always, Joe!
What a beautiful country. Any issues with the language barrier? Thanks Don
None whatsoever, Don. People have been going out of their way to try to meet me halfway, of course Mrs Grand Adventure has no language barrier at all. When I am desperate, I break out my phone and use Google Translate. Folks have been having as much fun trying to understand me as I do trying to understand them.
CHEERS Marc a very nice area. We are in Mitchell SD Harry and I will go to the Corn Palace tomorrow as they are PET friendly he just likes to go and not stay back. Will be going to do some boondocking around the badlands on our way to Rapid City for a week or 2.
Cheers to you too, Norm! That is a wonderful area, hope you and Harry have a wonderful time. Safe travels!
@@GrandAdventure we will and safe travels to you.
That is an absolutely stunning place to camp! So picturesque and I can't believe you were right down there near the water for that price... I'm sure glad you are pronouncing all those names and not me - my tongue gets tied up just hearing you say them :) The town looks so nice and we are 100% with you on the lobster. I think we would be having it for breakfast too! Thanks for bringing us along on this trip - we now have another place to add to our ever growing list. We look forward to seeing the rest of this trip... BTW looks like we pass through Salt Lake area around the end of September - not sure if you will be back by that time but if so would love to visit. Save travels!
Thank you, you two! We will not be back to Utah until December 1st, but enjoy your visit! If I can help in any way, just let me know.
Could really do without the music mt friend
I appreciate your feedback, but without the music you would be listening to diesel engines, kids screaming, people coughing, music in the background that would get me a copyright violation, etc, etc, etc.
Inspirational video Marc! Thanks.
Thank you as always, Gerald!
We are going to the Canadian Maritimes this summer. I had hoped we could visit this area but, we had to change plans. I will put it on our list for next time.
It is well worth it. Stay tuned, for we will have Percé next week, and New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia coming up over the next few weeks.
Marc, now you are in my stompin ground :) Both my wife and I grew up in the town of Gaspe. We have family in Sainte Anne des Monts as well. I love your coverage of the area. Looking forward to next week as well, as Perce was only 45 minutes from my home while growing up. Very interesting part of our continent actually. Very unique climate, geology and geography, and of course some amazing history, as the town of Gaspe is where Jacques Cartier landed in 1534. I truly hope you enjoyed your time in "our" area and continued safe travels. If you have not yet reached Bathurst yet, let me know, as we always are ready to enjoy a good meal and a good beer right here.
I wish I knew you were in Bathurst! I have been in Miscou all week, but move to Kouchibouguac National Park tomorrow. Percé was spectacular, and we will have an epic episode from there for you next week.
@@GrandAdventure Ah Miscou is beautiful as well. Although I guess you are sharing the rain with us this morning. You will enjoy Kouchibouguac without a doubt. we spent a long weekend there a couple of weekends ago, and get down there pretty much every summer for a few days. The South Kouchibouguac campground has some excellent sites with Full hookups, and also a nice selection of electric only sites. Our favorite site in the park though is over at the small Cote a Fabien campground...site 3. No services there and no shower facilities, but beautiful. Our trailer barely fits in, but it does...will be back on that site in late August for a few nights. If you are in Kouchi for a week, perhaps I will drop by next week and say hello, as it is only about 90 minutes from here.
@@ShawnPatterson402 yep, got to break camp and drive in the pouring rain today. We are here in the South campground until Sunday. You are welcome, just let me know if you can make it down.
Never knew anything about that area, really nice, great campsite, nice to see Zoey meandering around, thanks for sharing, travel safe
Thank you Gary! We are happy to be able to introduce the area to you.
Thanks Marc... what a great area. If you had said that you took a detour back to Colorado, I would have believed you based upon some of this footage. I never made it to the Gaspesie and this does not disappoint. Glad you managed to not get rained out. Did you end up bringing a couple of small electric space heaters for at night? Gord
Thank you Gord! In addition to the electric fireplace in our living room, we have an oil-filled radiator in the bedroom. Both get used when we are on hookups on chilly nights.
@@GrandAdventure Roger that, Marc👍...
This is a great video!❤❤😊
Thank you Michelle!
Hey Marc, i used your interactive map on your website to find this video, we are traveling across nv and are looking for places to stay and things to do while crossing nevada baker to Lake Tahoe. Im going to see several of your Nevada videos, i never knew about your interactive map, so helpful while planning our trips, we always see what GA video covers the area we are going. Larry.
Fantastic, Larry! Hope it helps, and safe travels.
It's that a jacket I see you wearing? It's going to be 100° down here in DFW. 🥵 Gord
Everywhere we have been the last few weeks has struggled to get into the '70s despite the heat wave just to our south, sometimes much less than the '70s.
@@GrandAdventure Enjoy it while you still can, Marc. Gord
Québec m'y country verry butiful
@@lucproulx2855 Indeed... I lived there for nine years back in the 50's and 60's. Gord
@@lucproulx2855 C'est tres vrai, Isabelle.
Oh my goodness you totally nailed it!! Thank you so much for this video.. Having not done a few of these things ;-) this video is almost comedy relief for our family!! Lol! Now we know why you need to do these things! So happy to have found your channel.. it’s awesome!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks again! 😊❤
We're thrilled to have you along, Teresa! We've been violating some of our own rules on a regular basis this summer. 😄
I grew up in Fairview so this was great and relaxing to watch!
That's wonderful to hear, Levi. Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks for the video. QUESTION: Do you believe that this would be strong enough to get the hot air out of my 25-foot Trailblazer Travel trailer? I only have a vent in the batbroom/shower, and it's not doing the trick. I was thinking of replacing the skylights with a big "house fan" but can't seem to find one. Thank you!
Matthew, the volume of air this thing moves is nothing short of amazing. I am quite confident It would be effective at ventilating your 25 footer.
Awesome episode!
Thank you Casey!
We found a nice spot in Wyoming last night. We are not far from where you were. Just around the mountains by Dubois. Up Whiskey Basin. They call it a campground, but it wasn’t anything but a large open area with a pit toilet at one end. Pretty much boondocking. We were one of only three spread out over the area. Beautiful!
Sounds sweet!
It is on a gorgeous lake! Fantastic lake for fishing. On the opposite side a creek with great fishing. Before I even saw your video about the Absarokas, I was thinking Mark would love kayaking on this lake. Funny coincidence that you were so close by a few days ago!
@@TheBruceGday oh no, this was filmed August 2023. We're in the Atlantic Canada Maritimes right now.
If you end up adventuring to Dubois, Wyoming in the future, you should really also check out the National Museum of Military Vehicles. It far exceeded expectations! Smithsonian caliber collection, presentation, and staff!
@@GrandAdventure Wow! What a V-8 moment! I knew that you were in Canada, yet somehow when this thing popped up in my feed, I didn’t read the date and thought maybe you were on a homeward swing. Glad you are still out exploring Canada for us!
This may be exactly what we've been looking for.
We use it all the time in campgrounds. In fact, I just set it up today! We love this system, and so does the dog. No getting tangled on anything with a leash.
Very helpful! Thanks
We are very happy to hear that, Patrick. Thank you!
Hey Marc! This is about one hour from my home. I wish I bumped into you when you were here. Great highlight video. Good job!!
Thank you! We always love bumping into viewers as we travel. Pity that it didn't happen this time.
Loved your video!
Thank you very much, and thanks for watching!
Cant camp anywhere in utah anymore without having to pay a fee
There's some truth to that. They have added fees in many formerly free locations.
I moved to Pierre literally one week before this video was shot, right after covid hit. Lived there for 2.5 years at the St. Charles before retiring and moving back to Louisiana. Obviously a lot different than the South. It's very isolated, 30 miles from the interstate and then another 2.5 hours to get to Sioux Falls to the east or Rapid City to the west. Never really assimilated into the community. Not the most welcoming and inviting place on the planet. Experienced two relatively mild winters and half of one beast. Here's my drone footage of Pierre. under four feet of snow...kzread.info/dash/bejne/pJOOlpqMld2Xido.htmlsi=sXnEIeyWz-UYXWwe
Nice! While we were not a resident, and instead just a visitor, we found the population to be very warm and welcoming to us. Sounds like you had a very different experience.
Very nice look at Quebec City. I hope you are prepared for the wind as you head to Sainte Anne des Monts. Always windy on the north coast of the Gaspe. Hopefully you ventured in to Parc National de la Gaspesie as well. Absolutely mind blowing scenery in there. We were camped there earlier this week actually. The Gaspe Peninsula has to be one of the most interesting drives in North America. Make sure your brakes are working well, and know how to use your transmission. :) Enjoy.
Yes on all, Shawn! We'll share our experiences there this Wednesday. Hope you had a good visit as well!
Absolutely cringe when I think about about driving in or about Montreal
The traffic was never wonderful, but since 25 years ago it has gotten ridiculous.
