TIP: Ashley furniture items are also sold on base exchange website discounted, and even more discounted during sales. I visited ashley, took pics of all items i liked, tried out sofas etc and then ordered it on base exchange website which is free delivery (unless you want it set up) and tax free. I was able to get a huge 3 piece sectional for less than the 2 piece sectional at Ashley instore.

Both options have pros and cons, but it is economical and safe to live on base.
May I ask how it went at MEPS with pcos. I was told it is a “permanent disqualifying condition” is it hard to get a waiver?

Just wondered. Can someone who has hypoglycemia, endometriosis, and diverticulitis, and wear contacts join the air force? Its not been diagnosed, but there are visits to doctors leading to them.
AHHH I'm so happy you made this choice!!! And good choice for a first timer. Later in your career at a different base you can change your options to an apartment if you want! But for now enjoy a HOUSE! I'm in a tiny ass apartment bc my BAH is so low, I'd rather give up my BAH and get base housing if I had the choice.

so does base housing mean a "house" even though you are a single/no dependents? What is the AF criteria to be able to choose - rank, TIS, or age? We see the happiness in your decision.

Hi this is speaking to my soul the mental healthcare technician job. My ideal long term goal would be to become a social worker at a school as a civilian which requires a MSW degree. My question is after serving 4 or 6 yrs in the Air Force do they cover the cost for you to earn your bachelors and masters degree?
She was like “is there a filipino guy in here?” Lol! Yes we could act as landmarks 😂 i can’t wait to get deployed.

I don’t think we were allowed hot tools like those. Honestly the girls in your flight always help with takedown and braiding we had like 4 + braiders in our flight. As long as you getting along with them you’ll find so many ppl to help

Base housing is the worst. Trust me!! Ill give you one example just to give you an idea. I was stationed at mcguire afb in nj and im since from NYC, my family would come visit me often because of the close proximity. I had to sign them in everytime which is a pain in the you know what. Imagine hosting a cookout and every time a family member comes to the gate i have to stop everything and sign them on. But heres the best part my cousin who had a suspended license because of child support wasn't allowed on base. So just the inconvenience part about being on base blows. On and i forgot the part about when i got a ticket for my lawn years ago and my supervisor brought it up in my feedback (i was just a A1C). Just dont do it, your freedom, and extra savings is worth it. You will thank me later
Base housing sounds like it’s more of what you’re looking for just by watching the video it seems you’re ready for you own privacy

Not sure if you still read comments on this video after two years. I first saw your disqualification video probably 2-5 years ago. I am 25 now and have been trying to get into the USAF since I graduated in 2017 but kept having hiccups, couldn't pass my test, car accident, etc. I randomly had another burst of motivation and am not going to stop till I get a clear answer. It's surreal seeing your video. I imagine this to be me. This has always been my dream and I know by the grace of god, this will be me. I happy you finally got in. You give me hope.

I totally understand that feeling of constant setbacks and frustration 😮💨😮💨 I always tell ppl if joining will positively effect your life then go for it! And yes girl I was praying (and my family) that Jesus would help me through those difficult times and let me join if it was in his will.
