Vann is a father, husband and avid outdoorsman.
Vann is a graduate of Brownwood High School and has lived in Brown County most of his life. The ranch he owns and lives on has been in his family for over 130 years. Vann not only knows hunting and ranching but very much lives the life every day. I was raised hunting whitetail deer and wild turkey in and around Brown County Texas, and have been lucky enough to hunt and fish across the great state of Texas, around the county and even to Mexico and the Amazon river.
The ranch land I currently reside on has been in my family over 130 years, and I farm and ranch and hunt on the land my great grandaddy hunted, ranched and farmed on!!
Vann started R&S Industries with his partners back in 2001 and built the company from nothing into a multi-million dollar business that helped support the communities of Brownwood and Early. He served on the board and was President of the Early Chamber of Commerce. He also served on the board and coached Lit

Thank you for posting this time period. Looks pretty wet… I think we’ll try a little earlier in the season.
Thank you for the kind words, music is off the movie soundtrack of Passengers, I have more of the music on our trip AMA Magna Danube River cruise Christmas markets 2023 and scenic Eclipse Antarctica trip Hope you enjoy and get to go on great trips yourself!!
i loved your video!!! The music you used made it seem even more magical...can you tell me who it is? Sounded a bit like Thomas Newman.
Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you have a great trip!
I'm planning this very trip for next year - but from Norway to England - so this is very helpful from an actual client's perspective. I do have to ask, though: how much time do you/did you actually spend in your cabin, and was the extra cost really worth it? Thanks for this.
Cash is still a big deal in Germany, but most places take credit cards, so couple things I can advise, get money at (bank) ATM to get cash, absolutely no Euro star locations, they are a scam!!! You need a few euros all the time, because some bathrooms you have to pay to use, but most of the time, credit card and turn down conversions by venders, your back will have best conversions. Don’t do any money conversions at airports either, I sometimes get euros from my local bank and bring $500 with me, Good luck and it’s a magical time!!!
Do I need cash for Christmas markets?
Thank you !
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed watching it
Nice of you to take your grand daughter on the cruise though, and Photography is good
They have very few heros, but he is one of them, Churchill - are you kidding me they are one of the greatest countries on earth! (not from the UK BTW)
Thanks for the video Vann. Looks like a great cruise. We’ll be on our first Viking cruise this fall (in Asia) and seeing the Explorer Suite was great. Also doing the British Isles the following summer so great seeing those ports and excursions as well. Safe travels.
It can vary, but normally 2-3 hours
How long are the water excursions? Great video btw.
Thank you for kind words!
Thanks for sharing. Lovely footage and the musical accompaniments to the hike and the seaplane tour were so well chosen. Good luck with your channel Vann
Very nice video! Thank you so much for sharing.
You are welcome, glad you enjoyed it.
We are taking this cruise in August, so it was interesting to watch your video.
Thanks, hope y'all have a great trip
Thank you for complement, you will enjoy AmA, have done many trips with different companies, and AMA was great
loved your seamless presentation. We are going in 2024.
My sister let me pick out an after cancer trip and I’m doing the Christmas market cruise 2024. AMA Bella.
Yeah, we went on Avalon from Nurnberg to Budapest. Dec. 12-19, Couldn't due to water level. It turned into a bus trip. Not happy. We had to miss Melk, which was a highlight. Compensation was low.
Curious if the Rhine is less likely to have river closures?
excellent adventure, this is living
Those are actually all great questions, you can call me at +13256422088, might be easier to explain some of those questions It’s an amazing trip!!
Thanks for the great video series. We will be sailing on the Eclipse I to Antarctica in a few weeks (beginning of February 2024). Learned a lot from tor videos and looking forward to it even more (if that’s possible). Did have a question though. What are the logistics of the excursion area? I know there are boot racks and “lockers/cubbies” for each cabin, but what is kept in the lockers. Do we take our excursion pants back to the room, or can you change pants in the change room if you only want a base layer under the pants. I know it’s a bizarre question. Thanks again!
We were there in late February Was a great time I think, to late for most chicks, but more whales
Great video. What month were you in South Georgia?
Falklands is pretty barren, but scenic has several places to go and see, if your in town, just walk around on your own, the church is nice, and go mail a post card from the little post office, but you want to go in the direction that the Falklands are first to see in stead of last, because it gets better from there!!
hi! great video! Did you take any tours in Falkland? or did you walk on your own? Any place you recommend? thanks
It’s worth every penny!! It’s life changing trip!!! Enjoy!!
If the world is still here or the Rapture hasn't happened, my bride & I are scheduled to go. Not cheap but once in a lifetime
Malvinas Argentinas…
Seems like I read somewhere you lost!! Maybe I’m wrong, but pretty sure I’m right!!
This would have to be one of the best videos on Antarctica cruising 👏👏👏 Which month were you there & how long was the tour? 🙏🇦🇺
Thank you, that is very kind, we have a part 3&4 you might like also, we were there from middle of Feb 14, to March 9th, was amazing trip!!!
🥰🥰👌👌👌👌
Is it still for sell?
No I’m sorry it is not
Looking forward to seeing the next one. So good. Just reminds us of how good and beautiful this trip was thanks brilliant work. So impressive 👍👏🙏
Thank you for the kind words, I do this so my wife and I can remember our trips, so cool you can enjoy it also!!
Great work very impressive, it was a great experience. looking forward to you next episode.
Thank You

Is not Falkland. Is MALVINAS. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS FOREVER 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
I have been to The Falkland Islands multiple times and have never seen a Argentine flag, only Unit Jack - Any explanation ?
Nice. The seas look relatively calm.
We got “too good” weather the whole trip, we wanted to experience the big bad seas at least one day, we got a “little” but the Eclipse is built to handle it, and beside everyone walking like they were drunk a few days, it was amazing pretty weather !!
@@vannstanford7669 MALVINAS belongs to ARGENTINA. MALVINAS ARGENTINAS FOREVER 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Excellent video! Did Viking offer an excursion to Mt. Saint Michel when you were in Normandy? We are looking to going that way next year.
I Don't remember on all the excursions, But I do not this is was on this list.
Remember this trip as we travelled on same boat
Disappointed with this cruise believe this is the one we were on. Lost 2 days because a barge blocked the lock. Food not the best either
Yes, we were very disappointed with Scenic, in many many ways!!! Go on Viking!!
@vannstanford7669 thinking seriously of trying Viking or APT we had a great cruise with in 2016
We have gone on 8 Viking river and ocean cruises, tried Scenic because they were supposed to be better, but that’s absolutely not the case, we have nothing but good things to say about Viking, and can’t say the same about Scenic !! We have already booked with Viking, going with Scenic to Antartica in 9 days!! Will let you know how that goes!!
@vannstanford7669 thanks. We were the same offered more but apart from cruise director and hotel manager who looked after us rest of cruise was disappointing. Xmas day Just didn't seem to exist. Seriously looking a Vilking for next one.
Very happy to see this explorer suite video! Thanks!
What was that at 27:53?
Looks like a she was getting back at me!! ha ha
@@vannstanford7669 We leave for the same voyage December 3 so looking forward to it. I checked out your site and we have a lot in common as outdoorsman. Am in Montana as we speak getting ready to head out deer hunting. Hopefully my wife will show me a little undeserved respect on our trip. :)
We are going on Scenic from Dec 16-4, so maybe we will cross paths!! And good luck with the wife!!!
promosm 💕
Thanks for the great preview. My wife and I are doing the same cruise in December 2022. We did their Grand European cruise in 2019 and they have won us over for service.
We are leaving Monday for the complete France trip, so looking forward to it. Viking always make our trips special!
Do you have any details on this property??
All you can eat food and drink is a magnet for cheapskates. Stay away from cruise ships.
Apparently you have never paid for a quality cruise, they are far from cheep!!
@@vannstanford7669 I have cruised twice with Crystal. Viking is not a nice cruise line.
Thought you said only cheapskates cruise?
@@vannstanford7669 Check out the prices of a Crystal Cruise.
I’ve been on several Crystal Cruses, they are also bankrupt. Viking is not
I really enjoyed your videos! Thank you for sharing. Sorry you couldn't make it to Amsterdam but happy Viking had an alternative. Bruges is one of my favorite towns in Europe.
Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed video.
Budapest and Amsterdam are beautiful cities You will never be able to explore them if you are part of a Viking Cruise. Travel independently.
That is so "not" true, we explore on our own all the time, just got back from another Viking trip this Christmas, and spent most of our time on our own, so probably shouldn't comment on things you know nothing about!!
