Brother, you live a very interesting life! I like watching your videos! 👍👍👍
In the Original plan, C.Y O'Connor planned only two pump stations.(Much Bigger) However because of the backlash, changed it to muliple stations.
I remember reading that,he had a great many ideas.
@@intooz4692 He copped tremendous flak...
@@intooz4692 Persolly I believe he was Shot with a rifle, the pistol he had was in defence. Riding into the water to get away. I can't see our Greatest Engineer being Suicidal.
Looks like a relic from the prior civilization..
Hi Bill, my neighbours wanted your opinion about coming across the Nullabor ( east to west), during the months of July / August. They are concerned about headwinds. What is your experience about the best time to come across?
Hi Chris sorry for taking so long to reply. The headwinds to tailwinds or crosswinds change every few days,if they watch bom app daily the isobars will give them an idea also there is app called earth nullschool witch show live wind information. fuel is expensive, tell them to get fuel at Eucla not border village 30 cents difference. wikicamps app off-line maps will give them idea when they are approaching a cliff top campsite.great time to travel.take care bill
Stunning scenery!
It is a must when travelling to Western Australia, I only did a small amount of the hikes.
Incredible rugged ancient scenery and superb colours, great cinematography Bill
Thankyou when you get the right light you have to race around to as many lookouts as you can in such a short time.
Thank you Bill. Beautiful scenery. Excellent job. I particularly like your choice of the accompanying music. 👍🙏
Thanks Desmond,I really like those tracks too, sometimes certain music is made for drone footage, or feels like that.Kalbarri is worth the detour.thanks Bill
@@intooz4692 Yes Bill. It's a beautiful part of the country. Used to frequent it in the mid seventies when it was pretty well untouched. Still good now though.👍
Amazing!...
Thanks,so many places to visit here, glad I some sunny moments
Why is KZread auto deleting comments on your videos? Strange.
I will look at that now
Hi Bill, the pinnacles are stunning to see especially with the drone
Thanks Chris, even better at sunrise and sunset, which I did once.
Thank you for this video. I am watching it 2024 June most of the shop now re opened only a few still shut. ❤Lismore. @@intooz4692 thank you for taking the time to make this video🫂
Hi Bill, just discovered your videos of Tasmania, and thoroughly enjoyed them. As we were watching them and looking at them thinking what an amazing place we looked at each other and said "we live in the best place in the world" . We are fortunate enough to live in Tassie and on the North West Coast. We absolutely love our little piece of paradise . Just wondering what were your top 5 locations in were ? We are bloody lucky living here and I'm pleased you enjoyed your holiday. Cheers
Hi Janelle, thanks for watching, it's hard to answer,as there's so many areas, but without rewatching ,the vids here's some but not all of my favourite Tasmanian places,so Tarkine Drive, Stanley, Cradle Mountain, Bay of Fires,Queenstown although that radiator problem messed thing up,Freycinet National Park, Penguin, so only some, and I've left many areas I didn't get to see for another time.Oh Waratah, I come just go on.thanks Bill
'Could' go on
Nice drone footage of the pink lake!
Thanks,I kept losing connection as I was under the powering there,a previous video from 2 years ago has better footage. thanks Bill
that's powerlines, predictive text messed it up.
Hi Bill great to see inside your van, you have it set up very comfy. Im glad you have a proper bed. Xx
Hi Chris, it's nice to spread out when sleeping, I'm still wasting those nice draws with things I don't really need but will clear them out one day, nice to had my face right at the window too makes for nice views in the morning.
Hi Bill, what is the cause of the leaning trees? Is it the species or wind blowing them over?
Hi Chris,I think it's the strong wind direction from the South West, also popular with windsurfers etc.
Hi Bill, love your videos. My favourite town name would be Suggan Buggan. Apparently the fishing around there is supposed to be good
That's an unusual one,I haven't heard of that. Thanks for watching my vids .Bill
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. subd & Like 👍64
Thankyou,sorry for my late reply
In 1629, two of the Batavia shipwreck mutineers were marooned here by the Dutch East India Company, as punishment for their participation in the mutiny and subsequent rapes and massacre of over 120 of the wreck’s survivors. They were never seen again, but would have known this area well and I imagine have climbed Red Bluff to scan the landscape.
I remember reading about those shipwrecks, I think just below Red Bluff is where some survivors made it to land, from one of the wrecks. The shipwreck museum in Fremantle has a lot of information about those wrecks too.
I was reading another story on Wallangarra station. It just wasn't the track size they couldn't agree upon. If you look at the Station roof . One is different to the other side.
wow I didn't notice that, would have been a good time for the drone.
tragic there isn't any shots from Murchison gorge?
Ah ha have no fear as the next video most definitely does have the Gorge,I took so much footage around Kalbarri that I've had to split it over two videos.
Hello from USA, wow beautiful
Thankyou, how's the weather in the USA,looks like you have some amazing places to visit also.Kalbarri is an amazing place to visit, thanks Bill
This one seemed over in the blink of an eye. Hope it’s a bit cooler over there now. Beautiful scenery as always.
It is a lot cooler now,I thought I should split the footage in two as I filmed heaps in the national park so next one will be longer.thanks Bill.
@@intooz4692 I like the longer vlogs.
Love yr videos! What’s yr name?
Hi thanks for watching the videos, and I'm Bill.
Great video thanks
Thanks Rowan,it's great country up there.
Great drone footage! We haven't been to Green Head for over 20 years - did you stay at Milligan Island?
Thanks,I stayed at Milligan Island Campground 2 years ago, very windy and sandy, got a partial sun through the gap photo but was cloudy right on the horizon. I think all the campgrounds are now $20 per night.
@@intooz4692 Thanks Bill
Stunning views, excellent production. What's the explanation for expanse of white sand? Will watch more from this channel 👏🥇👍
Thanks for watching, there are several locations along this coast with the white sand dunes. The coast is famous for the sw winds which deposit the sand there, the leaning trees are another result of the wind, windsurfing, windsurfing are very popular along here too.Take care Bill
I was wondering about the white sand too. It is very beautiful
Awesome. The drone gives spectacular views.
It's nice on the beach, but amazing from the drone, and the sand is like talcum powder
Awesome to see the insides of your home, you've been on the road for ever and have always kept it simple 10/10 to ya 👍👍👍keep the awesomeness coming 👍👍👍 Cheers Andy 🍺🍺🍺
Thanks is Andy,I will tidy up those draws one day and refilm it
Great to see the van mate thanks for sharing. PS do you use A portable battery pack?
Thanks,I have an I-tech powerstation ,don't use it much but handy when I do.
Bet she tips onto two wheels easily with that narrow stance😫 At least it's too tall to roll🤣
It's very very stable, steers well, sometimes the airflow under the solar panel buffets it around.
Glad I found this video. Cradle mountain petrified tree stump.
That stump and location was a real find,so much to explore, glad you liked the video that's Bill.
So is the objective of this trip revisiting your favourite spots in the Taragos but this time to experience with the camper or do you have specific aims? Or just enjoying the freedom of the road? Genuinely interested as thinking ahead for my next big road trip, prob this time next year, hopefully first time in camper.
Hi Brian, the aim, well I was initially avoiding Easter and school holiday traffic as everywhere was booked out,as for going to previous places, well if you've been to Western Australia you will know why I'm going back to places,as I haven't always had the best weather for filming previously. I do intend to discover new places too.
What time of year was this?
Hi there,Tasmania from memory was October to mid November.
Just stunning this massive country is. That water is such a mesmerising blue/ teal. All of it is such a privilege to witness. What’s the outro song Bill? It’s beautiful I can just drift off in it.
Always beautiful country,I didn't realise how vast the colour was until airborne, that tune is from Epidemicsound and is called 'Elision' by Jacob Ahlbom.cheers Bill
@@intooz4692 thank you. I just checked out his music and he has so many tracks like this. Saved to my playlist. 🙂
That was such a lovely tour. It had everything I would have wished to see. Thank you for sharing with us. 😀
Thankyou,it is such a nice area from there to Jurien bay.
I loved this video. It brought back some wonderful memories of lovely holidays along the Murray with my late husband. The drone footage was really wonderful, too.
Hi Jean thanks I was a bit rushed but hope to do a longer look one day.
So pleased you travelled through Tasmania Bill. You showed how beautiful it is with your videos. Well done take care.
Hi Thelma, thanks,Tasmania was a first for me,more than worth the effort, I've left unexplored places for next time I visit.Take care Bill
I weally liked that stay at Victoria Wiver ❤️
It's a least thought of area in NT but it has some fantastic sunrises and sunsets, the drone was a plus.thanks Bill.
It's A great coastline, such nice colours over there , different to the east. Sunsets over there are unbeatable. Is the Mazda running well?
The colours are amazing wait for the drone footage, even better, car going well, fun to drive.Love the sunsets and the gloaming after.
Yes it's a different dynamic, with a driving position over the wheels, a smaller version of a bus@@intooz4692
Those Wing Surfers can be used with a stey from chest to wing which makes using them quite effortless. A little slower than a Wind Surfer and can be used with a foiling fin for more speed. Bet it's getting cold at night over there😮
That makes sense, so that's what they are ,yes getting cold but ideal for travelling .
Bill, are you travelling alone?
I’d love to see a WA sunset. We have the best sunrises on the east coast but WA would have the best sunsets.
Hello there, there's a lot of coastline too,Broome is well known, but you can't go wrong where ever you are.
What a beautiful area. I’d love to climb that Gloucester tree but I reckon I’d take a tumble out of it easily.
I do love forests, especially that area,I'll try to get back there one day,I had done a video there I think ep 41.
and there are some nice camping spots along the Blackwood River near Augusta
should see if you can still camp at Broke Inlet under the peppermint trees if you are still in the area
I didn't get there, those peppermint trees are really shady, messy but shady,Torbay Inlet had them, now have to pay nearly everywhere.
Some of the most scenic coastline you've been to. That Southern Forest looks good for overnight motor camping, near the road,... unless it's Bigfoot habitat😮
The whole Southern area is perfect, even better when it's sunny, the forests are a bonus.
Hi Bill, Quite the trip to look for relief from the heat. Sorry you had rainy weather blocking views at the Bight. I was so amazed at one of your past videos with the aerial shots of the cliffs. Would love to see the windmills in full action. Individual sculptures in motion. I love the wind, partly sunny skies with the clouds breezing by, low 60sF degrees. The sunrises are a motivation to get up in themselves with the stunning views of open landscapes. A video put out by the Nullarbor Roadhouse showed the lizard, must be a regular. I can see how the cross winds can be a bit scary with the tractor trailers with no leeway. You asked previously for likeable names of places, Cocklebiddy would have to make the list. Also, all the indigenous names in general are so interesting. Like the metal camel sculptures at the rotary. Waiting for the wild ones to pop up. Have you seen any? Looking forward to seeing what direction you decided to take, Laura PS Blue is your color 😊
Hi Laura,I knew there was cool weather coming,I just had to drive a few hundred kilometres to get it.I have a lot of drone footage from 3 other videos crossing the Nullarbor. I only fly if the wind is blowing towards land, otherwise the drone could get blowing right out over Antarctica. There were two Shingleback Lizards on previous trip only saw one this time.Whale season is a great time from the cliffs too.Hope your well and getting ready for summer I guess,Autumn here.Take care Bill.
how cool is this place .
Hi ,yes Whaleworld is unique in that everything is just how they left it years ago.But still hard to think of the whales lost though.
Thank you Bill. Good to know that fuel is cheaper at Eucla.👍
Hi Laura,I think I deleted my reply, yes I knew about the cool change just had to drive 100s of klm to get it,I have put the drone over the cliffs a few times,ep 57 also shows the windmills as I flew between them, and went to some caves along the way,the Lizard had a friend last time hope it's still around.I guess your getting ready for summer,it's Autumn here nice colours around but also brown looking as it's hot too.I do like the blue shirts.Well take care until next week Bill.
Thank you for your reply. We will be heading East from WA mid July towing an 18' caravan. Different dynamics but I usually sit around 85-90 with my Prado 150 series for best economy around 13-17 depending on hills and wind. Thank you for your videos. 👍😁
Have a great trip, remember Eucla fuel is 20 cents cheaper than border Village.
