Cool 💡 doing 2 napkins on one !!
Thank you for all your great instructions! I love this!
What fun designs!!🙏❤️✌️
Loved this ❤
Beautiful napkins. Love the diy. Thanks so much for sharing ❤❤❤❤
I struggle with bubbles so I do the iron on method but you make that look so easy
It takes a little practice

Wondering whether a coat of Mod Podge is applied over the entire napkin when film has been lifted or if you use the varnish alone instead?
You can do both. I use my brush as well as the Saran Wrap to smooth. There’s MP on the brush so it’s getting some sealant on top from the MP. Hope that makes sense.
I use the neck support you get when travelling and add a small towel, then set goblet on it. Works well too.
I don’t see link to mulberry paper. Also, love the two floral napkins you are using. I looked in Vippies, but couldn’t find. Unfortunately though, I am in Canada and the shipping is 100 times more than the napkin. I spend so much time looking for napkins. I have made plates and vases etc. I would love to see how you did dragon flies with all little design attached, probably not fussy cut? Love your videos.
The link is in description box but here it is amzn.to/3gft6wE Vippies Designs napkin come and go and sometimes come back when possible. And they do not ship to Canada. The dragonfly vase is made with a napkin I tore into pieces and fitted together, no fussy cut. But it took awhile to complete. Thank you for tuning in! 🙂 Joan
Super Cute!
Can you put a vinyl decal on first and then add the fabric when adding the mod podge?
I have never tried that. Seems like it may be a little too thick. Try it on a DT plate and see if it works! - Joan
Thanks for sharing. I love all your arts and crafts, they're beautiful.
So pretty ❤
Love this so much thanks
Where do you get mulberry paper?
Here amzn.to/3gft6wE
I've clicked on your link below for the rope baskets, however, where can we find these deeper baskets?
The basket I used in the video is from Michael’s. Other sizes are available at different places I think I listed in the video Target, Family Dollar, Hobby Lobby, Big Lots, etc. look everywhere.
Have leftover polyurethane sealer from my walls. Can l use this as a sealer? Will it hurt the napkin? How about if l dilute it?
No don’t use that. Get a water based sealant like Rustoleum or DuraClear
@@JoanMarieDomino thank you!
Tysm for sharing! Awesome! They are beautiful!
What is mulberry paper 1:46
It a fibrous hand made paper use for decouoage and paper crafting.
Can i paint the fabric / canvas / rope with acrylic paint and then top it with the fabric modpodge and the gloss/matte sealant? Will it be as flexible if i did?
Fabric Mod Podge stays flexible when you follow my diy. I’ve have never done the acrylic paint first so I would say test on a scrap of canvas and fabric first.
@@JoanMarieDomino appreciated. thanks :-)
Thank you so much for this very useful tutorial.
Thanks for sharing. Where did you purchase the beautiful napkins from please.

Hi... I'm watching you for the first time and your cans are very pretty, I look forward to watching you again. My question is, could you add some things to the cans? Your napkins are very pretty, could you add lace along the bottom of the can, or add a pretty fluffy bow of ribbon on the handle, and finish it off with an aged pretty tag, sorry only means to positively accent your already great projects...Renee in Colorado
You can embellish the can anyway you like! Once you learn the basics make it your own. Thanks for tuning in 🙂
Thanks for the tips. I knew you could iron napkins onto something with ceram wrap, but the tip using the silicone mat is excellent. Never thought you could use mod podge to iron napkins onto paper, but in a way it's quite logical. I sometimes watch videos in which veneer is ironed onto furniture by applying glue and letting that dry before ironing it on. This technique with ironing napkins onto paper with mod podge is similar, only you're doing it with paper instead of wood.
Beautiful project and you are a great teacher! Thank you!
Spoons are so cute.
Love ❤
FABULOUS! Thank you so much. cant wait to start!
Can you use a hair dryer vs heat gun?
I really prefer a hairdryer set on med or even cool to dry BUT NOT fabric MP, it needs the heat. You can try a hairdryer I have only used the crafting heat/dryer.
Fantastic directions!!!
Do you have fuzzy side up or down

Hi! Thank you so much for your detailed instructions! What size calendars did you use, please? Thank you!
I use all 3 sizes of the calendar pads. For more info on calendars: www.vippies.com
Those are beautiful i know you only use metal can good quality plastic spoons be used? Or would the napkin not stick as well
I think plastic spoons would work. These are NOT for food, btw! Give it a try, what’s the worse that could happen? Try a fast food spoon first! Good luck! - Joan 🙂
Could not get the part on how you pressed the flower. Did you iron them under wax paper?

Omg I was saving tin cans and one day I said why and tossed them! Hahaha I’ll start now again! So cute. Thank you. Great idea After listening, I’m glad I tossed as they were the sharp tops.

NEW SUB !!!! what great ideas
Love the using water to weaken the napkin instead of trying to cut or tear perfectly 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽☺️
Hello I am a new subscriber from Michigan
Hi! Thanks for subscribing and welcome! 🙂 Joan
Thanks so much for this lesson!
Beautiful thank you so much for your time to explain it.😂❤👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great great great tutorial!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for your tutorial, it is so very clear and each step is so valuable. I will definitely give it a try as soon as I get the supplies.
My problem is everything looks fine until I’m ready to put the sealer on. After I put that on, the napkin starts wrinkling horribly. It doesn’t matter which method I use, whether I use the iron or not, how long I wait to let it dry, the minute that spray sealer goes on it starts wrinkling. I’m typically using Aileens or the mod podge spray sealer.
My technique may not work for you. There are other coaster videos, try a few different techniques and you’ll find one that works. Joan 🙂
💡 Really good video. I appreciate the tips.
❤
Beautiful as always! Thanks for all your tips and tricks!
