This is how I live. It took many years to develop this skill but it was honestly the best thing I ever attempted to change about my personality. at one point, when I was immature, I was also toxic. when I removed the toxic element from the situations, I realized that a lot of times what needed to be removed was me. That realization was the catalyst that allowed me to dissect my actions and the actions of others in order to " rise above ", as they say. for anyone else who watches this video or reads this post, it is imperative to find your peace and your strength in this way, if you truly want to feel happy, powerful, and dignified. you are not a victim. you are the creator. Good luck to all who are on this journey.

Wether or not conscious of it, all the toxic want is a reaction. If given none or little consequences from their behavior..they got nothin. You win. Even tho you'd think a powerful come back is what you feel to do. It's not the move. Maintain your dignity.

I would say there is much truth here. However there are times when reasonable communication is needed to solve conflict. Gossipal people are extremely undesireable for sure

And it's so sad and disappointing to watch someone focus on other people's shortcomings in order to feel good about themselves. It's like living a life that's not your own in the worst way possible.

I have two. The 1st was a master at ever single one you touched on. When I started putting up boundaries he got real upset. The more I grew personally, the more upsethe got. When I finally confronted him on his behavior, he apologized with a BUT if you were not this or that than I wouldn't have acted that way. For me, any apology followed directly with a but is an excuse for the poor behavior. 2nd one, this person was very negative, essentially about a mutual friend. When i set some boundaries with her, and told her that maybe she should talk to this person, she went off on me telling me how negative i was. The best thing i did, was not responding to her. My peace at that point was more important. And i knew me fighting back. Telling her she was crazy would do nothing but cause more problems. I guess i am growing!😊
