I also like to open up here about the things that I am personally working through and looking to grow in.

In 2022 I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease - a chronic autoimmune illness - and I left an abusive relationship. This lead me down a path of self discovery, coming to terms with my people pleasing, dealing with my high sensitivity, and working on my boundary wounds. I have a real passion for serving life coaching clients who are looking for support in these same areas. To work with me you can go to www.ninabcoaching.com for a free fifteen minute life coaching consultation!

No one should be expected to have to work through these things alone 🌻

Thank you so much for your candid, honest and non-fear-mongering documentation of your experience. You are brave and I will be thinking of these videos when I have my first infusion. Thank you❤

Thank you so much for this, I am currently going through the process of getting diagnosed and I find it really helpful to hear other people's experiences. I have been having symptoms for many years but I always assumed it was IBS. In the past year it has gotten a lot worse so after months of putting it off, I finally went to the doctors last week. My calprotectin level came back 1300, so that's not good. I'm quite nervous about what's to come, but I guess things can only get better with a proper diagnosis and a treatment plan..

the toxic part felt very real. i feel like ive always dealt with people that blamed me for the mean things they did and at some point its easy to start believing its true and getting away from that thought is difficult especially if no one believes whats happening to you or youre unlucky in the way that you only find people who agree that its your fault. came here after watching almost all your astrology videos and needing more similar content and i did really learned from this video.thanks

I just started Skyrizi too! I had my first infusion last week and I had a rather weird possible reaction in that my lips started tingling. They’re going to continue to see what happens. It completely wiped me out though, I came home and slept the rest of the day and was pretty off kilter the next day too. I’ve had Crohn’s since I was 9 and I actually had surgery to have an ostomy placed 9 years ago and I’d been in remission since then..this is my first time getting meds again! I’ve had more extra manifestations than Crohn’s issues which led me to put me on it…some tummy aches but tons of debilitating joint pain and skin issues. I’m hopeful it helps!

I HAVE THE EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS AND HEALTH PROBLEMS LIKE YOU. As I'm listening to you speak more about your illness and health Im like this exactly me right now. Just really unsure and confused as to what i should be eating or what sort of treatment i should go through . I have been experiencing issues very similar to you since like 5 years, I have symptoms like fatigue, mood issues like anxiety, depression ,constipation(more so due to inflammed colon), just pain in the gut after eating anything burning sort of sensation throughout my gut which makes me really tired and fatigued. Did an endoscopy i had apthous ulcer in the terminal illeum just like you that you had mentioned more about in your other video. The biopsy also showed i had chronic colitis but since i dont have any sort of ulcers or aggresive inflammed tissues that can be seen in a colonoscopy my GI just diagnosed and he believes that i have IBS. Now these symptoms i have is completely debilitating i think you mentioned you had like migraine like issues for me i also experience headaches its more like swelling and i have swelling of nasal tissues hindering my breathing just really weird issues. Watching your video made me feel that im not alone and gave me hope that everything might turn out to be good. So thank you for sharing your story and i hope everything sorts out for you and become well soon. And also i was just wondering is there any safe foods for you that is working and not causing any symptoms?

I’ve had Crohn’s for 24 years. Been on nearly every med they have including 3 surgeries. None have worked to bring relief for long. The rinvoq I was on cost $240k a year. Humira was $72k. I forgot how much the stelara was. Starting skyrizi soon.. It disheartening knowing someone on the opposite end is getting rich off the suffering of people like us. Not much we can do about it.

Glad it's working. I'm also getting on skyrizi. The doctor suggested stelara but I wanted my rizz to be sky high so we went with skyrizi. In order for me to get on it my TB tests have to come back negative so i'm hoping for the best. Also getting on a gluten and dairy free diet has helped me tremendously. I would suggest. Would love to hear more about the diet as the channel moves along and whether you maintain veganism. I stay away from red meat - same reasoning actually. Saw a beautiful cow at the 4H COUNTY FAIR back in 2018 and something snapped when I saw it being led off after the auction. I don't miss red meat - still do wild caught fish though! @@peteranthony3134 from what I understand that can be the process when applying to have an American insurance company cover your medication as an American citizen (like Nina describes). In Canada where I am you do not need to go through a private insurer - once you have a biologic prescribed by your doctor in Canada you typically receive coverage from the provincial government. In my situation Skyrizi is what I was prescribed by my doctor right away, and the government respects that.
