1:35 Look how they massacred my boy 😭
That Spain chicane is dreadful. Too close to the corner anyway
Saudade, meu Deus !
G.O.A.T.
5:05 The decision for a third stop was obviously made before the second stop already, because back then refuelling was part of the strategy. The reason why Schumacher could overtake both McLarens with his second stop was that he was taking less fuel and could therefor stop for a shorter time.
2023 Dutch GP brought me back. How things have changed with the FIA over time.
Adding a chicane to Eau Rouge is like drawing a moustache on the Mona Lisa.
Grande Eliseo.
A third video with the variation of 1995
Barcelona is actually more dangerous then no chicane.
The additions of Chicanes, I'm calling this the "Ayrton Senna effect"
Imagine the Ferrari pit wall now ? We did that ? Then ? How ?

@@deerlord2363 when ferrari was good at ross brawn?
it still is the shortest race - they did not race at all in belgium "21
Agree, spa 2021 being considered a race was just a "no refunds" ploy

That ending! 🤣🤣🤣👌
A magnificent achievement for the Chilean Eliseo Salazar
Eau Rouge 🤣🤣🤣🤣 what a joke all of these were. One if the reason F1 is now terrible.
This race basically signalled what was to come for the next 10 years .. races being decided through pitstops with almost Zero on track racing
Yep, I'm not sure where the rosy-eyed nostalgia for this era comes from (I assume the V10 sounds). I vividly remember a lot of it being an absolute snorefest. But at least it sounded good, I suppose.
@@INFEDnoX It was exciting championships only due to MS. Underdog car from 1992 to 2000. Without him, williams laught to the championship in 1994/1995. 1996 would have been a 1992/1993 williams showcase without any challenge. 1997/1998 would have had no title challenges. 1999 was close anyhow, 2000 would of been a mclaren easy win. Should be thankful MS made the 90s into title race after title race. Lewis on the other hand. Been a snore fest from 2013 to 2020. One year from seb. The only two decent years in f1 last decade was 2010 and 2012. That's it. Even the 2000s had better seasons. 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 but without MS it would have been 6 years William straight with 3 years mclaren.
@@wingzero2348 Let's agree to disagree.
Comparatively much more exciting than now. Schumacher help build Ferraris dominance and had many master strokes. He never had a warm chair like Hamilton. The Britts are still salty. The German will always be the GOAT! @@INFEDnoX
@@Ksean29 Why would I be salty? Do you think I believe Hamilton is better than Schumacher? I don't. Lol.

5:05 Ross did not change from 2 to 3 stops when Schumacher was already leading. He called the strategy before Schumacher came in. They fueled him less so he can jump the McLarens because of shorter pit stop time and then when we has past them he had to push to make enough of a gap. They could not change from 2 to 3 at 5:05 because there it was already clear he was on 3 stop because he had not enough fuel to finish with 2 stops. He had to get a big enough gap to be in front after his 3rd stop. This strategy was a masterclass but also the 15 hotlaps from Schumacher were a masterclass. Especially the first laps after his 2nd stop when he had more fuel in the tank as the McLaren who had a nearly empty tank shortly before their 2nd stop.
Back when Ferrari strategists were actually good.
Especially after Monaco
@@aliu67 Seems like this thread could go on and on... Especially after Hungary!

What a blasphemy was that Eau Rouge chicane...i remember watching that race on live TV and i was like “WTF!?”
On Silverstone we didn't talk about the Stowe and the Copse being almost a 90 degree corner and on the complex being slowed and how the entire circuit was ruined
2:09 -> the commentator is Keke Rosberg
1:05 Nice, they had online racing lags before internet gaming was even a thing
Forgive my ignorance, but who is the driver?
Olivier Grouillard

The changes made at Spain were idiotic. Others were acceptable to a certain extent (Silverstone and Monza), Spa and Estoril was questionable, but for Estoril, it did make for a slightly "longer" lap.. Spain? Those tire chicanes looked absolutely safe😂😂😂..
The spanish chicane looks more dangerous then having nothing there. Small margin of error and if you hit them tyres they’ll go flying in every direction.
That chicane at estoril was the beginning of the end for that track. First that chicane and then Turn 1 got ruined.
This is pretty unknown, but the chicane at estoril was made in 1993 for Superbikes and F1 raced in the normal layout. After Senna's death they decided to use the horrible chicane
problems? add chicanes
Eau Rouge 1994 = l'Ancienne Doune in 1920 decade
Nope, the second one's place is way deeper in the forest
The Spa and Spanish GP ones make me want to remove my eyes with plastic spoon
no, the 1994 raidillon was following the old layout before it was modified to be shorter
