I found nest in our front yard this year! Last week, I noticed a bird going in and out of or pine tree! A sneak peak confirmed the nest and what appeared to be 3 baby birds. They had feathers so I knew they were growing up! This week, when I was outside doing yard work, the parents were more aggressive than I had ever experienced them. And then today-all was quiet! No swooping near do I peaked again in the bush and found it empty! I'm so glad these beautiful birds but their nest in my yard and peaked my curiosity as I downloaded a bird app to identify the type and read and educate myself more about this particular breed.
