GOLF IS EASY - I promise you…
Having spent ten years working with players on the DP World Tour and Staysure Tour and now the majority of my time at Precision Golf in Surrey working with club golfers to elite amateurs; I want to take my experience to all of you, here on KZread.
UNDERSTANDING how to appraise your golf swing is ultimately how you will improve, not simply learning how to fix “your slice” for instance.
EDUCATE yourself on how your golf swing evolves over time and works within your “eco system” of moves and tendencies to golf your ball the best way possible.
APPLICATION is crucial to getting results, I’ll show you how.
I want you to play the best golf possible with a little education and a little less sugar rush changes. Come along for a ride that will sure to IMPROVE YOUR GOLF unquestionably.
You can also find me on Sky Sports from time to time but mainly at Precision Golf…
You can access my online diary in any description of a video.

Played my first round with my GGC swing. Tee and sand shots were outstanding. Iron play was spotty...work in progress. GGC is one of a kind instruction. Amazing content and presentation. Thank you, Stuart.
Notice at 18:47 in the video when you let the club drop behind you the lead arm comes way off the body, is that correct? When I try this the same thing happens and I'm outside the ball. Can you pls explain this? Tks.
I get all that Stuart but where you are confusing people is how far the hands return back. I have deduced that it is in line with the ball line : and you push and pull the handle down at the same time. Thanks for your great work. Grateful Aussie.
Heading to the range soon to give these concepts a shot.....Thanks!
Let me know how you get on Derek! Best wishes Stu
@@GoodGolfCoaching Will do, Stu! I feel like I have tried so many swing moves on KZread and elsewhere that seem to work in the short-term, but not the long term. You're right...Like a band-aid. I like your concept. Hey, at the very least, I learned what the word "lorry" means. lol Cheers!
It’s a mine field out there my friend. Hoping you stick around long enough to gain some knowledge and drive off in your lorry happy 😃
@@GoodGolfCoaching Swinging the broom as we speak. lol I will give it a fair shot and watch more of your videos. I get the concept and, with simple practice swings, I can see how it the "around the corner" move generates speed and squares the clubface. It feels almost like it is going to come from the outside, but my divots, on the back yard grass, are straight. Okay, I'll leave you alone now for a bit. Thanks, again!
Please please watch my “broom series” all the broom videos will really help. Enjoy 😊
Great insight thank's 👌
My pleasure my friend - thank you so much for sharing your kind thoughts. Best wishes Stu
@@GoodGolfCoaching 🙏 I discovered and started to work on your system yesterday. Just love the way you've articulate all of it and the new way of looking at pieces of the puzzle you offer here ⛳
Bless you, it’s appreciated. Trying to educate as much as give fast, quick tips. Super happy you’re here and enjoying.
Stu……pendous!!! 😀👍
Haha thanks Diggers!
Best coach on KZread by far 👍
Incredibly kind Rob - thank you so much my friend.
@@GoodGolfCoaching totally transforming my game, especially the broom videos and the explanation is spot on, playing the best I have played in along time.
Gosh that’s so so good to hear!! Makes all the Time and effort really worthwhile. Thank you so much for sharing.
Nice one Stu - on Monday night live, you praised Bryson for his impact position and tonight at the Open they mentioned how much he is working on weight transfer and how good it looks - you are ahead as always PS Elvis impression at 640 am was very good
Thanks Peter - just getting warmed up and hoping the ELVIS impressions develop, appreciate the recognition. 😂😂
Everyone was staring at me down the range doing this. I'll have the last laugh when I clean up in the sweepstake at the weekend.
Yes you will. And when they see it at a tour event in future, they’ll be giving you a call. Haha
Just wow! this is soo unconventional & challenging the believe system of conventional golf wisdom. Excellent Stu as always. I wish u can come to my part of the world for 1-1 lesson. ahah.
Thank you so much for the very kind feedback! Where is your part of the world? 🌎
Got to get Broom. I'm sure it's good exercise! You still da Man Stu...
Thanks Dave!
😂😂😂
#truth
More slow mo's please. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Hey Johnny - will do Sir. Thanks for requesting!
Simple is as Simple does! You Da man Stu..
Thanks Dave!
Hi Stuart! Love your concept! Qns: At the top of the back swing do you still keep the right hand wrist fold same as during address? Or does the right hand wrist will try to somewhat flatten? I like the downward pressure on club handle during the impact phase.
I never try to corrupt my wrist angles if i can help it; this will always tend to create restriction. Hope that helps my friend. Best wishes Stu
David Leadbetter ruined my game. I bought all his training aids : what a Salesman: but a pure golf wrecker!
EEeeeek... sorry to hear that! Best wishes Stu
@@GoodGolfCoaching I'd be surprised if helped anybody except himself and his off-sider!
😂😂😂
OMG! This is mind-blowing!!!! Totally awesome!!!!
Bless you, thank you so much. Super happy this had made sense to you and you can now move a little freely going forwards! Best wishes Stu
There's so much to this. You get this and you get the golf swing. I thought low markers who compressed the ball or could chip sublimely was because of some gift from God. I spent over 30 years in my backyard trying to chip. Now that I get how to balance the shaft and how the levers work: it's a bloody snack. AND : do check your grip. Priceless Stuart : bloody priceless. Thank You. Grateful Aussie.
Thank you my friend, really appreciate your very kind feedback, always. best wishes Stu
This would have to be one of your best lessons. Specially where people think they are over the top but they arent as much only early releasing which creates that out to in thanks Stu
Agreed Craig; so many misconception's of what a golfer is actually seeing and thje belief the shoulder is the issue. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Best wishes Stu
so you say a driver will be moving inward at contact so how is it possible to hit a push draw instead of a hook unless you move ball position back ?
Align your circle to start with, more to the right. Simple 😊
Fabulous video yet again. Exactly what we’ve talked about!
Absolutely James - backed up with some serious evidence I hope 😊
That was a peach. All your drills get the heavy end swinging through rather than my cover drive. Been such an improvement since i started implementing them. The heavier the clubhead feels as it freewheels through strike, the less i think about putting my club on the ball. It gets collected on the way
Lovely to hear Kieran. Super happy the golf swing is working out for you, and the performance is on the up and up! Keep me in the loop!
Good video but for clarification you have to put pressure into your left leg B4 you push back as i play with so many hacker that fall back away from target
You can’t jump without squatting 😊
......"absolute garbage"....... now I can move on with my day 😁
😂😂Carry on…
Awesome content! I really like how this takes the focus off driving the trail elbow back to your side. Being overly focused on the trail eilbow gets a lot to golfers in trouble, especially if they can't marry it up with significant trail side-bend.
Great stuff Stephen. Thank you my friend.
Best video yet Stu - so insightful! 👏
Thanks Steve!! Glad you enjoyed.
You are awesome stu !!
Bless you, thank you Sir.
This one is transformative.
Thank you! I hoped you and others would feel this way. 😊
Awesome combination of understanding, clear articulation and enthusiasm, evidenced with technology ! Thanks Stuart
Thank you so much Mark. Really appreciate the kind words and feedback. Hope you are well!
Hi Stewart, do you have a contact email for gxgloves. I've sent them numerous emails, with no success. Hope you can help. Thanks Steve.
Really enjoyed this myth buster session, weight shift control the key. I must say I have improved so much watching your videos so big big thanks. Also used your code for a cheeky 3 pack of gx gloves. Keep up the great work and your looking great 💪🏼 Chris from Edinburgh
Thank you so much for the kind words Chris - glad your golf is improving and you’re enjoying the gloves!! Best wishes Stu
Thanks for analysis. When I was taught this drill was taught that the step forward should be completed by end of backswing, and use that force down to push backward with left hip and rotate. I was being encouraged to post up more and rotate more. What do you think about that version?
Hi nova - I prefer my variation, but if yours works too, that’s ok, keep doing it! 😊
Stu, there you go again, debunking what has and is still being taught to golfers. Keep educating us so that we know the true science behind a good golf swing and how our bodies need to actually work for the best swing possible. Cheers.
Haha trying the best I can my friend. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
.......mic drop!!!........ excellent stuff Stu.......thanks 😁⛳🍺
Haha thanks Gary. See you tonight?
@@GoodGolfCoaching ....... Absolutely, if I don't get too busy at work I'll be there!. Always try to squeeze you guys in...... Let's face it, my golf swing is more important than this job 😁
Great, a man needs to get his priorities straight!! See you later 😊
You teaching pros have conflicting advice on nearly all parts of a golf swing. Couple that with uninformed advice from playing pros, it’s little wonder we poor schmucks don’t improve 😂
Can’t comment on the others Jeff; just doing my thing and hopefully backing it up with evidence and data rather than throwing up some grass 😂😂
Great input as always! Question: I am right handed, where should my right thumb be? It tends to be on the top of the grip. Should it be off to the forward side of the grip a bit?
My pleasure Craig - definitely try thumb “laying” down the side. Not a fan of thumb on top of the shaft. Let me know how you go.
@@GoodGolfCoaching Yes, tried it, seems to work quite well, thanks!
Pleasure Craig!
Interesting that towards the end of the video you talk about being in the gym with weights to imitate the golf swing you do not step forward. I have recently adopted such an exercise, partly to imitate the golf swing but mostly to strengthen side muscles which need it! I was going to ask about pretty much the exact basis of the video at my next lesson with you and you have now confirmed that stepping forward is garbage. However, there is just one small aspect from my gym exercise that I do wonder about in the context of the golf swing (and apologies in advanced for the long winded and possibly confusing explanation that follows). As I start to pull the weight I have preset the leading leg so that it is bent in roughly the position it would be at the top of a good backswing and the intent is to use the straightening of the leg to pull the hips around as I would do in the downswing. What I find in the gym is that as I start to pull the weight there is a very slight hip bump forwards, almost as a trigger to get the lead leg to straighten. Does that also happen in the golf swing or is it something to avoid?
Hey Justin - left hip will always move toward the target in the downswing, how much is dependant on lead or trail leg pressure and direction. Hope that helps. Best wishes Stu
" How your Body has Fully Un Ravelled " ! " How your Brain has Fully Un Ravelled ! matey, your a Un Ravelled Raving Genius ! ( how do you do it ? ) Feeling Oiley Now .
Get oily, get happy. Bingo. 😎
Excellent! Need to try this. Unfortunately been doing the other drill lately as recommended on a lesson, and been very close to some ham shanks 😂 Thank you 🙏🏻
What a great video! Followed! Looking forward to watch more of your videos.
Thank you for being here!! Any questions, let me know. Best wishes Stu
Debunking myths for… a long time 😂
Amen Andy
Think Differently Bravo!
The only way, bucking the trend.
What a video Stu, awesome explanation as usual.
Thank you so much, really appreciated.
Excellent : thank you.
Pleasure.
Really nice drill- I’ve tried this with full length broom- what do you think about that? I thought I also got the “alignment stick -shaft lean drill “ included
I would copy the video, will give the very best results. Glad you enjoyed. Best wishes Stu
I've been in the golf industry for over 30 years and have never learned so much; invaluable info! as I have watching this channel. Thank You Stuart. Grateful Aussie.
My pleasure my friend.
This along with your chipping lesson will get me to single figures from 21 HCP in 12 months. I'm currently 14.
Good luck on single figures!
There's not a Channel comes close and I've watched plenty. Only disappointment: I've only just found it. Grateful Aussie.
Better late than never, glad you’re here!
