Welcome to -The Cars of Elvis-. Elvis Presley owned and gifted close to 400 vehicles during his lifetime. Most of the vehicles he gave away were cars, but he also gifted motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats and even an airplane.
This channel will look into all of the cars, motorcycles, boats etc. Elvis Presley owned or gifted to family and friends.
He mostly prefered Cadillac or Lincoln but owned or gifted other brand of cars like Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile, GMC, Plymouth, Dodge, Chrysler, Ford, Mercury, Continental, Jeep, International, John Deere, Messerschmitt, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, MG, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Triumph, Stutz, De Tomaso, Ferrari and Datsun. Motorcycles purchased were Harley-Davidson, Triumph and Honda. Elvis also bought a lot of golf carts for his mansion Graceland.

Hello Elvis nice video 📹 and workmanship
Hello Yearly Elvis nice video 📹 and workmanship
1:17 You sure don't wanna get T-boned in a crash while in one of those GM X-frame tubular chassis beneath you, even though the 57 Cadillac was the most beautiful car that company ever built.
Fantastic 2nd part, which only fails to mention that Priscilla Presley actually sat at the 70079 chassised 1957 BMW 507 passenger seat in ealry October 1959, when the car was already red, actually days before he sold it in Germany., She mentions in her autobiograpohy, written in 1985, that Elvis visited her parents for the first time while driving the BMW, because as she put it, he probably wanted to impress them. Other than that perfect.
Thanks so much! I haven't read Priscillas book yet, but it sounds very possible that she rode in the BMW 507 right before Elvis sold it. Elvis and Priscilla did meet in September 1959.
Fantastic, looking forward for part 2
Great
Great channel
Thanks so much!
Thank You ... Thank you very much 😎
You're very welcome.
❤ Wow, wow, story.
Thanks so much.
Hate to say it but chances are this 1957 Seville was scrapped to restore a 1957 Biarritz, sadly was the fate of many 1957 Sevilles.
I agree. Many convertibles were restored by using parts from the less expensive coupe version.
@@carsofelvis and that's sad because if I remember correctly, they both were the same price on the show room floor
@@willieoutlaw4957 It's really a shame. I love the convertible however the 57 Seville hardtop roof looks fantastic.
passionant!! merci!
👏😸❤
Thank you for the interesting and informative video! 😃👍🏻 One question: do you know if Elvis personally drove his Messerschmitt to Bernard Lansky on August 27, 1957?
Thanks! I've heard that he had it driven there later by one of his friends but I'm not 100% sure.
@@carsofelvis Thank you for the response! In the meantime, I asked Hal Lansky, but unfortunately, his father Bernard took the knowledge with him to the grave, which I find very regrettable! Otherwise, nobody really knows about it. Best regards! 🙋🏼♀️
@@PetraC.Bolden Thanks for checking with Hal Lansky. It's unfortunate that nobody knows. The only person still alive, which I could think of, that may know about this is Billy Smith. He was only 14 years old at that time though, so it's unlikely.
Fun cars for this man!
I have seen this car at Graceland several years ago. Thanks for not calling it a Lincoln.
Great taste.
Yeah the side pipes need to go.
I saw this car on yt recently on a reality car show
If you have the link, please let me know.

thanks for sharing Elvis story of his motorcycle and where the pictures were taken when Elvis was on the motorcycles too bad you don't have that picture I always want to know for my teenagers years I'm going to send you the link when elvis was sitting on the motorcycle with the star cap kzread.info__r3Ur73qco?si=C3E4rRoRo0WmS8Ry
Elvis Presley cars were always getting trashed back in the nineteen-fifties, and constantly got customized by different owners over the years.
I had the same car in the exact colors , an excellent driving car but a bit cramped inside , the front seat doesn’t go back far enough for somebody of his height
Excellent info. Except, at 4:01, Gladys is not leaning on the yellow Cadillac convertible, as the car she is leaning on has a triangle vent window, and a key lock below the door handle. The Cadillac has a rectangular vent window, and no key lock below the door handle.
Thanks! Yes, you're correct. I just went by the caption of the image. The triangular vent window and key lock location suggest it might be a 1948-49 Cadillac convertible..
Elvis actually did give away a lot of American made cars compare to exotic.
Very interesting. I wish that someone would give me a vehicle!
Thank you so much for sharing these pictures and all the information. Beautiful job. I'm going to watch the other videos. Love to hear information on Elvis. R.I.P Elvis you are missed so much.💕👑💕
Thanks so much for watching.
💕👍 a legend
Excellent 😊👍
❤❤❤
I own a 57 eldorado!
Nice! Thanks for watching.
@El Capitan how do you know which number. I've seen other people mention it but I don't know how to find out
❤❤❤
What is wrong with the audio?
merci beaucoup pour ce travail de recherche. je trouve vos vidéos passionnantes. j'apprends beaucoup. merci!!
Merci beaucoup pour vous ou vos gentils mots.
It looks just like the one elvis and it was also white is american pickers
On an episode of the american pickers a family had a nineteen fifty eight and they purchased it the american pickers Is what they did with it I don't know
That sounds very interesting. You didin't happen to catch the episode number?
Is Vernon was a cheap skate But he also kept everything for the history so we can see it today thank you Is vernon
I agree Roy, thanks to Vernon Graceland still has all the receipts and old stuff purchased by Elvis. Fantastic for us Elvis history buffs....
Beautiful and sort of a rare car! Loved this video and all the other videos of his cars and motorcycles etc...💙This Lincoln Mark III is not as well known as some of his other cars and I enjoyed learning more about it. Sadly it seems he didn't get very much time to enjoy this car due to having to back to Fort Hood and then off to Germany shortly after that or even after the Army because Mr. Vernon had sold it.
Thanks Anne for the nice words! I agree, unfortunately Elvis didn't get much time to drive this Lincoln.
toujours aussi bien documenté et passionant!! merci…
Merci beaucoup. J'apprécie vraiment cela.
Great work as always..loved every video..well done
Thanks a million!!

This is why I love your channel. Your channel should try using "PromoSM"!
58, and 59 models from GM, are my favorites ever...!
passionant!! merci!!
Thanks so much!
7:14 That is not a 57 Cadillac. The A pillar is vertical, and the vent window is a rectangle. 57/58 A pillars slanted forward, and had triangular vent windows.
It was labeled as his 1957 Fleetwood, but by looking closer at the dark picture I would say it's definately his 1958 Lincoln Continental mark III convertible. Thanks for noticing.
Fantastic!! I cant wait till you get to the US$9m 1957 BMW 507, chassis 70079, whose last tour resulted in its being seen by a record 54,000 people over a weekend in Oslo, in the last days of October of 2022. kzread.info/dash/bejne/h2StmbSCmbmqcpM.html
Of course, nothing beats this photo, taken also at Oslo with its soft black top on. Well, it would have been beaten had they taken the hard top, the feather white one, to Oslo, but I guess they didnt. scontent.fmga3-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/317636525_8430723533635518_7102822280075996988_n.jpg?_nc_cat=108&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=0debeb&_nc_ohc=MzRnxxQ983oAX_KZNuz&tn=7MWBeE7Q5teRXIgK&_nc_ht=scontent.fmga3-1.fna&oh=00_AfC0FHqQx8Znj0g80AJTC4NiEPKxLcPAwLRvSNkCxGy0Pg&oe=639EF7AB
For reasons I cant understand, there isnt a single photo of the restored car with its hard feaher whiite top on. We have the photos when it was being restored., Just look at this beaurty. scontent.fmga3-2.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.6435-9/67925410_2918582051516388_6347008318187241472_n.jpg?_nc_cat=111&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=dbeb18&_nc_ohc=POTx8RChFOEAX9CjwxO&_nc_ht=scontent.fmga3-2.fna&oh=00_AfBRGtfw6x6A5aDPKHctRpoGXhVkvDIyjBsXntgiByyBTg&oe=63C1FC69

Can we get a video on the 58’ Fleetwood 60 Special?
Yes, it's the next one up. Unfortunately I've been swamped at work lately, so I haven't had the time for this YT channel. I'll try to work with the 58 Fleetwood video the coming weekend and release it shortly thereafter. Thanks for watching.
